'Disoriented' Mueller's stumbling responses to questions during blockbuster hearing leave social media concerned the special counsel seems a 'confused old man' but some think it is all a strategy to frustrate the committee members
Mueller faced members of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees on Wednesday morning at a highly-anticipated hearing on the Russia investigation
Viewers reacting on social media noticed Mueller stumbled at several points
'Mueller is acting like he doesn't know what's going on,' one viewer wrote on Twitter. 'He's acting like a confused old man'
Some viewers have said Mueller's shaky demeanor calls his report into question
Others think the 74-year-old veteran prosecutor sounds uncertain because he is being overly-cautious about coming off as impartial
Perplexed viewers are questioning Robert Mueller's 'confused' demeanor as he testifies in front of Congress.
The special counsel faced members of the House Judiciary and Intelligence Committees on Wednesday morning.
Viewers reacting on social media have noticed that Mueller appeared to stumble at multiple points.
'Robert Mueller comes across as a doddering old fool with a questionable moral compass based on situational ethics who should never have been appointed in the first place based on reduced mental capacity,' one person tweeted.
'Mueller is acting like he doesn't know what's going on,' another wrote. 'He's acting like a confused old man.'
Some are saying the wobbly performance is a delaying tactic on the part of the special counsel to frustrate Republican committee members determined to discredit findings that are damaging to President Donald Trump.
When it came to questions at the core of the report, Mueller delivered firm answers without hesitation.
Asked whether Trump had been exonerated or if he could be charged with obstruction of justice when he leaves office, Mueller replied: 'No' and 'Yes' respectively.

The cycle of drinking is like this: You drink, and you flood your system with depressants / numbing / dopamine / endorphins. Body says 'oh this is wrong! my guages are off!' so releases adrenalin / stimulants, not to mention you just took out a credit card withdrawal on endorphines and dopamine, so the bank account is empty. That's part of the what the shakes and seizures are. -> depletion of relaxation biochemistry, flood of stress biochemistry.
Start with a guy who is already clearly tightly wound, has probably been under incredible pressure to find an undetectable threading of the needle between lying/truth legal/corrupt and biased/seemingly-unbiased and whatever other pressures he's under after a career in gov that MUST involve many people having many goods on him, and I think you get this.
Gowdy just said on FOX that the person who learned the most about the report today was Mueller.
It’s why the GOP basically stopped, no sense piling on, the man was feeble, disorientated, proved his report was not his report.

Only when the Republicans were questioning him.
That’s actually kind of creepy. Years ago when I played video games I played a game called Doom. It looks like one of the monsters. Yikes!
Its funnier the first way you said it...
A grinning smiley monster?....................
Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee had to roller her eyes.
At least he didn't say "I take your question" WTF?
He played the doddring, dithering old man to perfection
Actually, if the available pool of lawyers is 50/50 dem/repub the odds of picking 19 dems in a row are 1 in over 500,000. If the pool is 75/25 dem/repub as is more likely in govt circles, the odds of 19 dems in a row are 1 in 236. So this is not random, as everyone knows. Mueller hired Weissmann and everybody else was hired by Weissmann, a highly biased, partisan and unethical manipulator who should have been disbarred long ago.
He appears as though he has Alzheimers, which I would not wish upon my worst enemy.
