The gory scene prompted the closure of the Saba meat store in Bloomfield, which kept livestock on its premises to be prepared in accordance with Islamic law, NBC Connecticut reported.
The cow dashed out of Saba on Saturday and ran across the street to the hardware store — with employee Badr Musaed and a contractor Andy Morrison hot on its trail.
Morrison, who was doing renovation work at the meat store and was armed with a bow and arrow, tried to help Musaed corral the cow while the local police also responded.
Dash camera footage obtained by NBC shows the officer trying to box the bovine in with his cruiser — and Morrison attempting to shoot it with his weapon.
“As the cow ran towards the employees, Morrison shot at the cow, however he missed and the arrow struck the wall of the Home Depot,” the police report said.
Suddenly, Musaed whipped out a foot-long knife and slit the cow’s throat as other Saba employees wrangled the animal.

They do not share our values. The idea that adding any set of different values makes us stronger is foolish. The idea that you can just slaughter an animal in public seems perfectly natural to them, and there are many other things they think are just perfectly natural that we find abhorrent. It will always be so.

And how was this allowed? Cows are stunned in American slaughterhouses to ease their deaths and to keep the meat tenderized. Do not buy halal meat. Buy kosher if you want a humane death.

BTW. You see this on every street corner in islamic cities during eid.

Here is the Koranic verse that specifies it.
[2:196] ... During the normal Hajj, if you break the state of Ihraam (sanctity) between `Umrah and Hajj, you shall expiate by offering an animal sacrifice at Home Depot.
Are there “zoning” regulations there? I don’t know the ins and outs of such regulations. But would have thought that farm animals need to be dealt with on a farm, in an area which is designated for agriculture or domesticated animals.
Maybe such regulations don’t apply to Moslems, that’s possible too.

I don’t believe that Kosher Slaughter allows the Animal to be stunned. It is comparable to Halal Slaughter.
Please correct me if I am mistaken.

Yeah, I always carry a foot long knife with me when I go to Home Depot for some mulch.
I guess that justifies concealed carry on Home Depot premises.
