The House on Wednesday voted 332-95 to kill the first articles of impeachment brought forward under the new Democratic majority, showing off a deep divide among Democrats on whether to go forward with an effort to unseat President Trump.
A majority of Democrats along with the chamber's Republicans voted to table the measure sponsored by Rep. Al Green (D-Texas), while 95 Democrats voted in favor of it.
It's the first time the Democratic House has been confronted with a vote on impeachment, and comes a week before special counsel Robert Mueller is set to testify before two committees on Capitol Hill.
Green, whose previous impeachment votes have accused Trump of inflaming racial tensions, offered the measure immediately after the House on Tuesday voted to condemn Trump over tweets targeting four minority Democratic congresswomen.

Pelosi hopes she’s playing it “smart”. Time will tell. She could have fought those with Green who voted for the resolution, to keep it from even coming to a vote.
I think she figured the mere fact that it got a vote will be favorable enough for the Dims.
If it is percieved by the voters as just a ruse, because only how the impeachment would not clear the Senate and not because Pelosi et al were actually against impleachment, Pelosi will be seen as weak, not smart.

The Democrats keep digging the hole they are in deeper.
Pelosi knows Impeachment is a lose-lose situation. Even if the House voted in favor the Senate would not vote to remove the President. The this was political theater of the worse kind.
The biggest loser is Pelosi. It appears she is unable to control the members of her party.
Does this mean President Hillary! will not take office?
