Unfortunately, that’s my impression of Pence (the natural successor) - not to suggest that I think he’d be as bad as Bush (nothing is, except ANOTHER Bush), but he’s a political animal and I just don’t trust him.
There will NEVER be another Trump, but at least SOME of his love of the country and fearlessness in fighting the evil left MUST be evident in whatever candidate runs on our side down the line.
Hell, my preference is that Trump starts his own party at some point, we all shift over there, and let the GOP wither and die (as a party), just like the RATS. They’ve generally proved themselves to be almost completely worthless in supporting our President.
