House Democrats have officially pushed Speaker Nancy Pelosi to schedule a vote considering articles of impeachment for President Trump. The vote will take place Wednesday and is being spearheaded by Texas Democrat Al Green.
Green is no stranger to articles of impeachment for President Trump and has introduced them multiple times on the House floor. They’ve never received a vote. Last night he did it again, leading to a full House vote later today.
Green's latest move came after the House voted to condemn President Trump for tweets about leftist Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley and Rashida Tlaib.
For months, Speaker Pelosi has desperately tried to slow down the momentum for impeachment, which is politically unpopular with voting demographics Democrats need to win or hold onto.
Given the statements made by the “squad’s” during a press conference earlier this week and during and interview with CBS News Wednesday morning, there are rough seas ahead.

Nancy HAS lost control of the House. The newbies have no respect for her or her position and are running wild. And she can’t rein them in.
I hope Trump points this out and reminds the voters that this is what happens when democrats have majority power. Chaos.

What percent of the Congress do they need to carry through on the ‘impeachment’?
Just a majority?
I would think if just a majority, what is to stop ANY Congress from impeaching a sitting president especially if they have the majority and Pres in opposite party?
Can’t trust the Senate on this either.
Remember, the R’s still haven’t ‘paid’ for WJC impeachment and papers were drawn up against W on a (seemingly) weekly basis - never going anywhere.
Of course, in today’s volatile political climate, if just a majority needed it surely is a ‘paybacks are hell’ moment.
If this were the libs being set upon, one can guarantee all sorts of disruptions and roadblocks would be set up.
We only have ‘ourselves’ to thank for this, just about every district that ran a ‘kook’ won because the incumbent (be it R or D) didn’t want to sully him/herself by challenging the ‘kook’...
As a result we end up with the likes of AOC etc...
Sure -they will be doing that while Trump is inaugurated for his second term....:)
It has started...and it will fail. THEN can they get on with doing what they were elected (presumably) to do?

Our own homegrown and imported Communists in the democrat congress are marking their celebratory day.
No Congressman who votes for this measure is fit to remain in office.
