The U.S. Hispanic population surged another 1.2 million last year and now is a record 59.9 million, according to newly released U.S. Census Bureau population estimates.
The percentage of Hispanics as part of the overall U.S. population also jumped to 18%.
A Pew Research Center analysis of the new data also found that between 2008 and 2018, “Latinos accounted for about half (52%) of all U.S. population growth over this period.”
The largest growth area for Hispanics was the South, at 33% since 2008. That includes Texas and Florida.
Every region in the U.S. saw growth.
And there were areas of historic growth not typically associated with Latinos, including North Dakota.
Said Pew, “The states with the fastest Hispanic population growth tend to have relatively small Hispanic populations – and are not in the South. North Dakota’s Hispanic population grew by 135% between 2008 and 2018 – from 12,600 to 29,500, the fastest growth rate of any state. However, the state ranked 49th among the 50 states and the District of Columbia in its overall Hispanic population in 2018. Hispanic populations in South Dakota (75%), the District of Columbia (57%), Montana (55%) and New Hampshire (50%) also experienced rapid growth during this period, though all have relatively small Hispanic populations.”

Congress passed the following law giving the POTUS the authority to unilaterally forbid immigrants/invaders entry into America. The treasonous liberal federal hacks appointed by o’bummer can only dictate terms once the world’s unwanted actually make it onto US soil and utter the magic “asylum” word. But POTUS can absolutely prevent them from stepping onto US soil. That’s the law.

"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."
POTUS has the power to order troops to the border, as he has already done. He has ordered troops to the border, but only in a impotent capacity. If he can order ten soldiers, he can order 10,000 soldiers. If he can order 10,000 soldiers, he can order them to be armed and have some teeth. He just has to do it. He can prevent anymore incursions onto American soil. If he'll just do it. He needs to stop worrying about the voter’s perception of this debacle and just do his job. The job which was his campaign platform. The job for which he was elected.

The court said that federal law entrusts to the president with decisions related to the entry of individuals: whether and when to suspend entry, whose entry to suspend, for how long and on what conditions.
The president need only determine "that the entry of the covered aliens 'would be detrimental to the interests of the United States.' The president has undoubtedly fulfilled that requirement here," the court said.

Unless "Latinos" are very different outside of CA, it is indeed very troubling if your not a liberal. The latinos are the ones who have tipped the scales blue in CA. Look at the D to R party registration amongst whites...40 to 36 percent. Darn near even. Now, look at latinos, 60% Dem and 16% Repub registration.

Latinos surpassed "whites" as the largest ethnic group in CA back in 2014, and Texas wasn't that far behind back then. Since then, that vast majority of illegal aliens coming from "latino" countries have gone to Texas.

Illegal aliens are now getting valid state issued drivers licenses which means those are state issued ID's that are valid in all the other states, many live in cities and even states that subvert federal authority on issues of immigration and now many are going to get federal tax dollar paid "free" healthcare.
