A powerful House Republican says President Obamas FBI and CIA committed severe, serious abuses against then-presidential candidate Donald Trump that soon will be exposed.
Rep. Peter King, R-N.Y., told John Catsimatidis of New York Citys AM 970 The Answer that the Obama administration had no legal basis to probe the Trump campaign, The Hill reported.
There is no doubt to me there was severe, serious abuses that were carried out in the FBI and, I believe, top levels of the CIA against the president of the United States or, at that time, presidential candidate Donald Trump, King said.
There was no legal basis at all for them to begin this investigation of his campaign and the way they carried it forward, and the way information was leaked, he added

What a goddamned sick, sick joke our government has been perverted to.
*************
The bigger government gets, the worse it gets. That is a truism you can count on.
Ha! Pete king, the fake conservative.
There are powerful Republicans just NOT powerful Republicans who will do crap about corruption.
All wind-up and no pitch.
Personally the long delay since we last heard a peep from Bill Barr discourages me.
************
The last peep out of Barr was his appearance in April at a bagpipe event. I kid you not.
Quite apropos since Washington loves hot air.
There are powerful Republicans just NOT powerful Republicans who will do crap about corruption.

‘Powerful Republican’ is an oxymoron if I ever heard one.
“Abuses” is another qualifier.
FELONIOUS CRIMES were committed.
The cynic in me says the Epstein arrest is the deep state’s counter to Barr. It is aimed straight at Trump and run by Comey’s daughter.
“There are powerful Republicans just NOT powerful Republicans who will do crap about corruption.”
Or anything else. They only act when they are forced by President Trump, or when the media and Democrats are setting the agenda.
So, if you are powerful, but never use that power, are you really powerful?
That is a well known fact. The question that begs answer is, What will be done about it?
My answer is nothing.
But Q says, “Trust the plan.” /s
If indictments do happen, I am convinced the media will report it in a way to make it appear Barr and the DOJ is heeding Trump's instructions to get his enemies. Trump trashes the Constitution kind of headlines and many voters just simply will not believe it.
I am in a nest bed of liberals and I am amazed how many have no clue as to what has been going on and I think they will simply refuse to believe.
Oh, they have a clue. The only thing that matters is “Get Trump at all costs!” And, they are never wrong. When the are, they are still right. Just ask them.
Yup. Mostly stupid Republicans. The rest are either lazy or gutless.
Indictments aren’t enough. You can indict a ham sandwich. We meet CONVICTIONS and SENTENCING!
I won’t hold my breath.
“Powerful” and “Republican” in the same sentence???....LMAO!
Unicorns are more common.
As long as the Hildabeast is allowed to roam free, there is NO equal justice under law in this country. Like everything else liberalism touches, its been destroyed. What we now have is some sort of a 2-tiered system: one for the unwashed masses (thatd be us) and one for our evil overlords (the Uniparty) and, of course, for their little friends and faves, like Super Juicy Smollett.
When is some sumabitch gwan to jail?
Oh you tease.
