Britain's ambassador in the United States has described President Donald Trump and his administration as "inept" and "uniquely dysfunctional", according to leaked diplomatic memos published by the Mail on Sunday.

Ambassador Kim Darroch reportedly said Trump's presidency could "crash and burn" and "end in disgrace", in the cache of secret cables and briefing notes sent back to Britain seen by the newspaper.

"We don't really believe this administration is going to become substantially more normal; less dysfunctional; less unpredictable; less faction riven; less diplomatically clumsy and inept," Darroch allegedly wrote in one dispatch.

Imagine what the economy would be like if Trump wasn’t such an incompetent.

It would be just like Obama’s, or maybe even Carter’s!

I wonder what Ambassador Kim Darroch was doing when UK Intelligence Services were interfering in the 2016 elections in the USA.

reporter on Murdoch's Sky News quoted the Andy Wigmore tweet re Farage etc, with the presenter saying "he would say that, wouldn't he?" … but omitted this part: "Worth noting Darroch has a reputation in D.C. as being a bit of a 🔔 end and @HillaryClinton fan 7 Jul 2019" --- how deceptive the MSM is.

What again was that noise about the US and UK having some kind of “special relationship?”

The ancestors of these poor dumb bastards said the same thing about the Continental Army. I wonder if Lord Howe, General Gage, Lord Cornwallis etal would agree? Like others, I like an “inept” President Trump.

This is what I take from it. Who fills the foreign office? Exactly the same kind of elitist, insider, global socialist, scumbags who you’ll find in the State Department.

His “could end in disgrace” comments have already proven laughably wrong. As we all know “Russia Russia Russia” was always a nothing burger. His claims about the administration being “inept” are rather funny in light of the outstanding economic growth tax cuts and deregulation have delivered. First he claims the Trump administration will be warmongering due to its tougher stance on Iran....then comes up with some laughable excuse as to why Trump refused to take the bait and launch a massive air strike on Iran.

People in the UK probably said our troops were “inept” in the 1700s, too. Who gives a crap what the UK (losers) think or say?

President Trump should summon the British ambassador to his office, show him the quotes and ask, “Did you say these things?”, and regardless of the answer, tell him he is ready to declare him persona non grata.

Then let the UK Foreign Ministry stew for a while.

My money is on a remoaner who wishes to sabotage Britain’s relationship with the US in order to force Britain back into the embrace of the EU. There is a very large crossover between inveterate EUrophilia and anti-Americanism in the UK, and a similar crossover between pro-Ammericanism and anti-EU sentiment.

Yep. Of course, the ambassador needs to go too, since his partisanship has been exposed, but the leaker definately needs to be punished for leaking confidential diplomatic cables that should only ever be seen by the government that they serve. They are not something that should be used by insiders attempting to pursue a political agenda, which in this case I suspect is to undermine UK/US relations to the benefit of the EU.
