Paris's deputy mayor has revealed the city is working to stop tourist buses causing "total anarchy" in the city.
Emmanuel Gregoire said the town hall is working on regulations to limit bus traffic, and would introduce parking areas outside the city.
"Buses are no longer welcome in the very heart of the city," said Gregoire.
The deputy mayor spoke of the measure as part of a number of initiatives designed to mitigate the impact of overtourism in the French capital.
While the problem has not reached the levels of Venice or Barcelona, Gregoire believes that Parisians are wary of issues caused by overcrowding.

No need to go to Paris anymore. One can simply go to the middle east and see the same views - with the same results
They would seem to have more pressing problems.......probably the only way tourists feel safe in Paris anymore.
Lots of places are No-Go anyway.
The tour buses stop at the bus station and from there you can walk, take a water taxi, or take a water bus. But the problem in Venice are the large cruise ships that drop off thousands of tourists at a time.
Damn, must have gotten pretty bad in Paris ... they had to bus tourists in ... was Harris in one of the first two buses?
Just shout alah akbar at ‘em when they step up to you.
Then they can’t tell you to leave, or pay for what you take, or anything else.
If they do, you accuse them of offending islam and they go to jail.

Overtourism sucks; it’s like a bunch of seed ticks invading every nice place. Everybody checking another box on their bucket list.

So now all the tourists will rent cars to drive into the city and that will fix things. /s

It sounds as though a politically significant constituency doesn’t like tour buses. Cebu. If the city changes parking/driving regulations, tourists will either accept it or not go to Paris.
