This guy has an interesting bio. Given where he was born, my guess is Sunni Arab. He served in Saddam’s army, was mayor of a town during the US occupation, decamped to VA for 8 years, then returned to Iraq as a Major General. I’m gonna say that he’s the CIA’s guy in Iraq, and I mean that in a good way.
