Not really. A single 67-ton Tiger II could hold up a dozen Sherman tanks, and often did. Could a Tiger II hold up a thousand Shermans? Because for every over-engineered unreliable POS Tiger II built, there were a thousand highly mobile and reliable Shermans built.
Besides, our tanks were not designed to go head to head with other tanks. Tank doctrine in WW2 was that tanks were designed to support infantry. It was the tank destroyers like the Wolverine and the Hellcat that were designed take on enemy tanks.

Oops. Hundred. Not thousand. There were a hundred Shermans for each Tiger II.

So help me understand what flag I viewed in a museum in DC.
Huge flag behind glass. Not Betsys?

When the tigers were actually running.

Go down HWY 67 toward Ft. Stewart, and you'll see this sign: They ought to post some hog crossing signs too.

Don’t know about hogs, but I ran over the biggest possum I’ve ever seen, on that highway.

Over 39,000 Sherman tanks were
built vs 1350 Tiger tanks in
about the same four year period.
What the Sherman lacked in battle
prowess was overcome by shear
numbers.

US sportswear giant Nike has pulled trainers emblazoned with an early version of the US flag after a complaint from former NFL star Colin Kaepernick, according to reports.Kaepernick and Nike should take some of their millions, buy a book on logic, and look up the "association" fallacy: Because Nazis allegedly used the Betsy Ross flag, everyone who uses it must be a Nazi. And Sir Isaac Newton was gay because he investigated the apparent splitting of white light into rainbow colors. And Noah was gay because he saw the rainbow sign.
If it hasn't happened already, leftists will find a Nazi who agrees with something posted on FR and claim that makes FR a Nazi site.
This is also an example of the "association fallacy:" Because two people have something in common, they are the same.
