Puny critter like that can't do much. What's needed is a good stock of rattlers and cotton mouths. Just remember the river crossing scene from "Lonesome Dove" when a whole nest of cotton mouths came down the river and hit one of the drovers.

If its a threat to illegals, why aren’t we loading the river up with gators?

A gator-filled moat is not as good as a wall of bollards.

That’s what I’m thinking.

Round em from Disney World and export.

I think you have to strike a delicate balance here: Enough gators to ensure that they all stay hungry and threatening, but not so many that the illegals can walk across their backs to get to the other side.

Alligators in the Rio Grande - what a wonderfu8l way to protect the border South Florida is being overrun with alligators. Moving them to south Texas will help alleviate the Florida problem..

Sorry, illegals. Alligators are a protected species, so you’re outa luck.

Surely all Dims would insist on protecting the critters in their natural habitat (the gators, that is). To do otherwise would be a betrayal of their “values.”

Imagine the US Fish and Wildlife service pulling in with a truck by the Rio Grand and stocking the river with gators. Just the mental picture makes me smile. A sign saying don’t swim unless your fast as Tarzan. ROTFLMAO

I’m sure the Cajun Navy would love to help out by re-gifting some of their gators too.

Time to seed the Rio Grande with Alligators. We’ve got plenty of ‘em in Florida to donate to the cause.
