Some left wing zealots own guns. One photograph showing half a dozen unkempt agitators with rifles doesn't prove anything, except that there is an element on the left that is arming up. From what I've seen, it's mostly small groups of committed extremists.
Your average liberal has never touched a gun, let alone fired or owned one, whereas on the right, gun ownership is commonplace and ordinary.
Let some incident ignite a real domestic conflict, and you'll quickly see how lopsided the battle will be.
I've said for years that America's political situation has passed the point handling it within our civil systems.
The people are no longer united by their common agreements about the fundamental nature of our country and form of government. We're honestly in a cold war of sorts with the left, and it's been heating up since Obama was elected.
