June 29 (UPI) — President Donald Trump said his postponed immigration raids in 10 major cities could start up on Independence Day unless “something pretty miraculous” happens in Congress on immigration reform.
Trump said during a news conference on Saturday at the G-20 summit in Osaka, Japan that he was not optimistic about anything happening before then. Trump on June 22 postponed the raids for two weeks at the request of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats.
“Unless we do something pretty miraculous, but the Democrats, it seems to me, they want to have open borders,” Trump said. “And for the life of me, I cannot figure that out. It’s one thing because I want people to come to our country. We need them because we have all these companies coming in.
“… The only problem is that they have to come in through a process. They have to come in legally. It’s also very unfair. You have millions of people online for years trying to get into a country. … But, yeah, we will be removing large numbers of people. People have to understand,” the president continued.
Before they were postponed, the raids appeared to target Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New Orleans, New York and San Francisco, based on cases filed in 10 immigration court locations.
The House passed a $4.6 billion emergency border funding bill Thursday that had previously passed the Senate. Pelosi said she “reluctantly” moved the Senate bill forward after threatening to alter the legislation. The bill is now waiting for Trump’s signature.

During the Trump roundup Check the precinct list of registered voters where these people resided. If they’re on that list, Federal crime, charge them and those that enabled them to vote knowing they were illegalsis
Delay gives pervocrats time to clean up voter lists and remove illegals names from. Election fraud is what also should be looked at before kicking them out

I’m getting tired of President Trump always promising things in the future. Why weren’t the ICE raids conducted first and THEN reported?
Whatever happened to his threats to cut off funding to “sanctuary” cities? That fizzled, lots of lawsuits were filed, and it quickly faded away.

EXACTLY right!! Why is this pitched as a one-time, never to return event? Just start the raids and deportations and keep them going FOREVER.
So sick and tired of the way he is playing this game.
My way of thinking is that it is better to not count on possible self deportation and forcibly deport them. Every day of the year.

sounds great but your plan isn’t feasible. we’ll end up with more illegals leaving the country if the hundreds we forcibly evict is all over the news... as it’ll prompt others to move while they still have the choice
I beg to differ. The people and families that are targeted aren’t watching the news or reading the newspapers. But there’s a huge illegal community underground news and rumor network. If La Migra started seriously throwing people out, the work would get around like wildfire all over the country — with or without news media outlets.
