BREAKING @Vimeo has REMOVED Project Veritas saying: "You cannot upload videos that are hateful, defamatory, or discriminatory."
Perhaps we embarrassed @Google but NOTHING we said was hateful, defamatory, or discriminatory. They're trying to erase us from the internet.

Ping to Semimojo.
Here we go again. How much of this political censorship will it take to wake you up to the fact that we cannot allow this sort of thing to continue?
In before “Private company, can do what they want” post.
battle of the ones and zeros
The FAANG masters in Silicon Valley think they are exempt from common civil behavior. Bad idea.
“Build your own Vimeo!” said some asshole.
NONE SHALL QUESTION our tech Billionaire Overlords. They are coming for us all now..
**************
The jack boot of censorship and mind control.
It is a private comapny and they can remove whatever they like... but they can’t LIBEL and SLANDER them on the way out the door.
If they deleted them and said “We don’t want conservatives on here” I would at least respect that.
But NOTHING in Vertas’ video is deceptive, hateful, or defamatory.
Prove that it is- TAKE THEM TO COURT veritas!!!!
Somebody reposted the video further down the linked thread.
The way it works in a capitalist society is, if you don’t like the products or services being offered by others, you start a company of your own and offer a better alternative.
All this whining and pissing and moaning about the media companies started by lefties and used for their benefit is frankly nauseating. Knock it off and grow a pair.
Vimeo has everything to gain from people being banned from, or fleeing YouTube.
But they fear the backlash of the progressive mob.
There used to be a place for contrarian libertarians in Silicon Valley, and that gave shadows for conservatives to hide in. Not any more.
What do we do now? Pass a law protecting freedom of speech? Did already. That and the second amendment are both $hit upon and attacked by the left.
“In before Private company, can do what they want post.”
Although I have never posted a comment such as that I do happen to agree with it.
Either you want government control of private business enterprise or you don’t. I personally want none of it PERIOD.
Now in Google’s case, Facebook and some others, I believe that they are Monopolies in the purest sense of the definition and should be broken up as the law dictates.
Bitchute
Should they still be able to take advantage of the safe-harbor provision of the DMCA? It seems like once a company chooses what content it allows then it is more of a publisher than a network service provider.

No. That is not "How it works".
They claim to be platforms but behave like publishers. They can't be both. FB, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Google, Vimeo etc all claim to be communication platforms like, say, AT&T. AT&T is not responsible for the content of peoples phone conversations. That makes them simply a platform However, if AT&T censors phone calls, they become a publisher because they are choosing content and that changes their status and protections. They must decide if they are platforms or publishers. They are lying when they pretend to be one but behave like the other.
