But he can, and will, lie. It’s what they do.
My understanding is that the only thing a prosecutor is allowed to say about someone he/she is investigating is “we have sufficient evidence to charge the subject with two counts of “A”...”B”...”C”...”D”...and “E”...and have done so”.Once that's announced the subject is presumed,under the US Constitution,to be *innocent* of all other crimes.
I’m guessing he won’t be under oath so he will lie and give his opinion of what he thinks President Trump has done.

And the next question could be: "Mr Mueller,is it true that your chief Deputy,Mr Weissmen,was at the Javits Center on Election Night of 2016 planning to celebrate Secretary Clinton's election to the Presidency?"
I understand it will be a public hearing. I wouldn’t think the dims would be for that unless they knew what was going to be said.
Mueller has already said he will say no more than what was in the report. So either he is going to say....read the report....or he’ll take the fifth. What are they going to do....put him in jail...they don’t have the authority.

They are desperate to shift the narrative and create an impeachment food fight as smoke screen for their misconduct and criminality in the Obama era and to de legitimize the I I ant investigations and indictments they are about to get hit with.
To get the ball rolling on impeachment, they need Mueller to publicly utter the secret word - obstruction.
It’s not a great option, but they are cornered rats and it’s all they have.
Mueller will get hit will all sorts of damaging and incriminating evidence as collateral damage, but that will all be coming soon anyway so the collateral damage is insignificant compared to Mueller’s manufactured obstruction claims that the Democrats need to jump escalate their impeachment food fight
Exec Admin will assert privilege over anything not in the report. In the same manner that Hicks declined to affirm the location of her WH office.
Nadless can eat the sausage he ordered but he will not be allowed to see how it was made.
Mueller can not change the story at this point. He will open up a new can of worms, which will cause more chaos.
Maybe FR should compile a list of interesting questions?
- Why isn’t the “dossier” mentioned in the report?
- What was the predicate for the investigation?
- Why is Hillary, the entire DNC, and Christopher Steele ingored?
- Why were you still having people raiding mere weeks before ending your investigation when it was already clear what the report would be saying?
- Why was your team composed of only rabid Democrats?
- What did you uncover respective to FISA warrants?
- Why would you claim that PDJT wasn’t “proven innocent” when that isn’t your job, while being impossible to prove anyway?
