An American missionary accused of contributing to African babies' deaths by treating them for malnutrition despite not being a doctor has hit back at the women suing her.
Renee Bach, 35, is from Virginia but moved to Africa when she was a teenager to work as a missionary. In 2009, she set up the Serving His Children clinic in Masese to treat children and babies who were close to death because of malnutrition.
In a lawsuit filed in January at the High Court in Jinja, mothers Gimbo Zubeda and Kakai Annet allege that she caused their babies deaths and the deaths of dozens more.

It’s hardly a good deed when you’re passing yourself off as a medical professional when you have no actual training. This woman was only interested in virtue signalling.

I remember a photographer in either Somalia or the Sudan who saw a starving woman and baby, with some vultures perched overhead. He waited and waited for one of the vultures to spread it’s wings so he could get a great shot, but it never did.
The woman eventually got up and staggered in the direction of a feeding station.
The public was horrified when he told the story, he was criticized for not helping the woman.
But then, he was a photographer, not a medical aid person.
Talk about “Biting The Hand That Feeds You!” I guess that can define the attitude of all modern Third World movements and ideologies.
I knew a registered nurse who worked as a Southern Baptist Missionary in Africa.
She had some interesting stories. I remember one story of a young girl who brought her baby in because she was always crying. It turned out that she just had to show her how to burp the baby.
Also said they all wanted injections whether they needed them or not. The witch doctors all gave them shots.
Where are the Blacks and why aren’t they going to Africa to help their brothers and sisters? Why is it whites who go there to help and sometimes get killed for being there?
The Americans who liberated the concentration camp survivors in WWII killed many of them just by feeding them.
Giving regular food to starving folks can kill them because of the shock to their systems.
They need to be gradually refed so their bodies can adjust.
Where are the Blacks and why aren’t they going to Africa to help their brothers and sisters?
