If we assume there are some such people, in my experience we will find that they exist quietly, watching for information with which to make up their own minds.

***************

Most of us are emotion driven creatures. The marketing and advertising people certainly know this and design their ads to exploit the human proclivity. Politicians also appreciate this and cast most of their pitches to us in emotion laden arguments.

Even if we assume that facts do persuade people most people will either tune them out or selectively “parse” them when the underlying issue is complex or takes effort to understand.

Such is the case with unraveling the anti-Trump cabal and all its associated activities. It demands too much from people in terms of sequencing facts and creating a logical analytical framework to reach conclusions. Therefore, they will simply rely on the usual pallet of emotions to paint their views just like they often do.

Not saying there are no quiet people out there who coldly and unemotionally assess the facts, but they are far and few between. Especially in today’s world.

Heavy duty material. Danke

Personally, I think Biden will be out of this football game way before the fourth quarter.

Is there evidence that his appearance returned to normal at any time?

Assuming you mean this SOB, who was one of Russia's stooges in the Ukraine, the guy that Joe Biden's son worked for and made millions from, co-founder and owner of the largest natural gas company in the Ukraine (Burisima), I imagine he still looks about the same.

Mykola Zlochevsky

“He served in the first cabinet and the second cabinet of Mykola Azarov under President of Ukraine [Putin stooge] Viktor Yanukovych.

In 2002, he co-founded the largest independent oil and natural gas company Burisma Holdings with Ukrainian businessman Nikolay Lysin [uk].[4][5]

Through his sole ownership of Cyprus-registered Burisma Holdings, he owns the Ukrainian gas and oil producers Aldea, Pari, Esko-Pivnich, and the First Ukrainian Petroleum Company and the investment group Brociti Investments.[6][7][8][9][10][11][excessive citations]

On June 15, 2018, Zlochevsky was accused of illegally issuing oil and gas licenses to the companies that belonged to him in 2010-2012 while he was Ecology Minister after the Solomyansky District Court in Kyiv annulled the ruling of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAP) to close a criminal proceeding against him in 2017.[12]

On April 18, 2018, recordings of conversations between President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Zlochevsky were released which implicated him in graft.[3][13][14]

At the end of 2014, he fled Ukraine amid allegations of self enrichment and corruption during his tenure in public office, but returned to Ukraine in February 2018 after investigations into his Burisma Holdings had been completed in December 2017 with no charges filed against him.[9][15]”

There will be no smoking gun. No significant number of people are going going to change their mind on POTUS based on declassified docs, etc. Democrats and Never Trumpers are just fine the Obama admin and Deep State assault POTUS and his supporters. We live in a post Constitutional country. It couldn’t be more clear thanks to Donald J. Trump.

My suspicion too. Ten months ago, Whitey Bulger, the Boston gangster, was beaten to death within a few hours of being transferred to a Federal prison infamous for murdering prisoners. Bulger worked with Robert Mueller to overthrow the Italian American Mafia in Boston. He knew a lot about the FBI and their dirty operations.

Prison deaths of enemies of the Deep State are suspicious in any case. Mc Dougal of Whitewater infamy comes to mind.

Trump has exposed every last one of them for the manipulative, deceitful, lying and viscous people that they are. Thanks to him we have a very clear picture of the Swamp inhabitants.

For that, I am thankful everyday.

Treating Manafort this way has nothing to do with justice. It was all about political punishment.

Paul Manafort was in deep with the same Pro-Russia people in the Ukraine as Joe Biden's son, Hunter. I suspect he was 'planted' into the Trump campaign by the same actors who staged the elaborate, but typical KGB/FSB-style "Trump-Russia collusion" hoax. The person who introduced Manafort to team Trump was Thomas J. Barrack.

Paul Manafort

Chairman of Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign

In February 2016, Manafort approached Donald Trump through a mutual friend, Thomas J. Barrack Jr.

He pointed out his experience advising presidential campaigns in the United States and around the world, described himself as an outsider not connected to the Washington establishment, and offered to work without salary.[49]

In March 2016, he joined Trump’s presidential campaign...”

In August 2016, Manafort’s connections to former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych and his pro-Russian Party of Regions drew national attention in the US, where it was reported that Manafort may have received $12.7 million in off-the-books funds from the Party of Regions.[56]

On August 17, 2016, Donald Trump received his first security briefing.[57]

The same day, August 17, Trump shook up his campaign organization in a way that appeared to minimize Manafort’s role.

It was reported that members of Trump’s family, particularly Jared Kushner who had originally been a strong backer of Manafort, had become uneasy about his Russian connections and suspected that he had not been forthright about them.[58]

Manafort stated in an internal staff memorandum that he would “remain the campaign chairman and chief strategist, providing the big-picture, long-range campaign vision”.[59]

However, two days later, Trump announced his acceptance of Manafort’s resignation from the campaign after Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway took on senior leadership roles within that campaign.[60][61]

_____________________________________________________

Thomas J. Barrack Jr

-snip-

He [Thomas J. Barrack] denies a quote attributed to him in the 2018 book Fire and Fury that he said Trump was, “not only crazy” but “stupid”.[38]

In a 2017 Washington Post article, Barrack commented on Trump’s inflammatory rhetoric and proposals to ban immigrants from certain Muslim countries and put up a border wall with Mexico. “He’s better than this,” he said.[39]

Barrack was interviewed during the Special Counsel investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, in particular regarding Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, Konstantin Kilimnik, Cambridge Analytica, the Trump campaign, the Trump transition team, and the financing of the Trump inauguration.[40][41]

Why would Manafort be sent to a state prison if he was convicted on Federal charges?

New York State is now trying him on State charges.

The U.S. Supreme Court just ruled that this is not a violation of the dual jeopardy injunction in the Constitution. (In an unrelated case, but that was one hope of Manafort's). With that out the window New York has a green light to prosecute him, and they are.

Their transparent motivation is to prevent a Trump pardon resulting in him being freed. Trump can not pardon for State crimes, only Federal ones.

What I find interesting is the second half of the article. The Hunter Biden stuff is interesting, but probably not going to amount to anything except partisan talking points.

Here it is:

It could be possible that AG Bill Barr is keeping President Trump in the dark in order to (1) protect the office of the President, considering that President Trump was the target of a seditious plot to overthrow his administration…

However, it could also be possible that AG Bill Barr is using the concentric circles of protection around the office of the President for the reverse purpose…. (2) To protect the DOJ and FBI as institutions from the power of the executive office.

The #1 option is the optimistic outlook which requires all Trump supporters to have “hope” and “trust” in the Attorney General. The #2 option is professionally cynical, and contains the most currently visible evidence; and could explain why Barr wanted to neuter the risk of President Trump declassifying information by taking institutional control of it.

Honorable Barr, or Bondo Barr?… you decide.

It's hard to stay optimistic at this point. We trusted Sessions and got nothing. We were optimistic that maybe Rod Rosenstein was a fair player, but it looks now like he was working behind the scene with the anti-Trump forces.

We waited for the Horowitz report on the email, but it lacked power and precision.

We hoped the referral of McCabe to the DOJ for prosecution would result in his indictment: it never came.

We assured ourselves that Huber was working diligently behind the scenes, only to find out he hadn't interviewed anyone central and seemed to be a empty placeholder.

Now comes Barr. Yes, he's said more good things than the rest of them put together in a short time.

I can't help but be hopeful, but there is a nagging suspicion I'm giving credit where none is due, and I'm destined to be disappointed as the Deep State covers for its own, again.

The epitaph of the prosecution of the Deep State Coup may end up being "McCabe was fired".

What is your opinion on this, fellow FReeepers?

It is notable that Sundance, who has been unremitting in his pursuit of this story is starting to feel like nothing will ever happen. That's a level of cynicism I've not seen from him previously.

No, I was asking about Viktor Yushchenko.

Lol! I thought you were joking about the way the pro-Putin "mongol" that Biden's son worked for in the Ukraine looked!

As for poisoning victim, Viktor Yushchenko, I think this photo is from 2018...

Hard to tell if any effects are still visible.

Manafort joined the Trump campaign when basically nobody with political experience would. It was the era of the Never Trump and Cruz campaign blacklists. I doubt he was planted. Occam’s razor fits here, imo.

I'm damn near certain that he was, as it would make perfect sense considering all else that we know happened involving the Dems colluding with Russia while, at the same time, planting evidence to make it APPEAR as if Trump was.

Manafort was deeply involved with pro-Russia people in the Ukraine. Very high-ranking people in the KGB/FSB Putin administration were reportedly working to hurt Trump and help Hillary.

It should come as no surprise to anyone, at least not here, that the Russians would have waay more wanted Hillary over Trump, given all that the Obama-Biden-Hillary admin did to strengthen their hand militarily and otherwise. This, as team O-H practically, and no doubt purposely, crippled OUR OWN defenses.

So of course the Russians wanted Hillary to win.

If Barr has to make a choice on protecting the Deep State/DOJ vs uncovering the truth, he will pick the DS/DOJ.

I don't think so. But then, many Mafia bosses got away with ordering "hits" too, whether they failed or not. Russia under Putin is very much like the Mafia. Witnesses are often hard to come by.
