Three girls from a Connecticut high school have filed a federal discrimination complaint against a statewide policy on transgender athletes. The girls say that these policies are hurting them; they missed out on top finishes in races and possibly even on college scholarships.
The complaint was filed Monday by the conservative Christian law firm Alliance Defending Freedom. Christiana Holcomb, legal counsel for the Alliance, explains in the New York Times:
Girls deserve to compete on a level playing field. Women fought long and hard to earn the equal athletic opportunities that Title IX provides. Allowing boys to compete in girls' sports reverses nearly 50 years of advances for women under this law. We shouldn't force these young women to be spectators in their own sports.
Connecticut's policy on transgenders is downright insane. Students have to be treated according to the "gender with which they identify." The result is that male students, who say they identify as girls, are dominating girls' sports. Just look at the photo above from the AP of high school transgender athletes Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood finishing first and second, while their "biological" female competitors (read: girls) are nowhere to be seen.
OK, that's not true... if you concentrate and focus really hard you can see them somewhere, far away in the background.
Although the far-left fake news media won't like it, the three girls who filed the suit enjoy massive support on Twitter:

The girls are right, but they will lose.
Are any of these girls social justice warriors? If so, they need to be consistent in their support for these things, even if it means their own displacement, not just the displacement of heterosexual white Christian males.
I guess defeating the patriarchy by allowing men dressed as women to compete in women’s sports isn’t working out so well.
Women (feminists, anyway) have been voting for leftism and democRATs for decades. Now they're getting what they voted for. Let's hope these girls see the error of their mothers' ways, and vote more wisely when they come of age.
Don’t think Trump can do much with this. It’s got to be handled by the courts. But also, attacking LGBT is not really something he does much. Other than the transgenders in the military, he’s been hands off with LGBT.
At a large corporate office there are large posters all over the place celebrating the LGBT civil rights won by primarily court order.
It doesn’t occur to HR that some people may disagree and might be offended.
If the court is consistent, the biological girls will lose.
However, the court may be worried about losing respect. For me, that train left long ago.

Obviously I disagree. It’s a golden issue for President Trump. All he needs do is ask that question of whichever Dem lunatic manages to emerge from the primaries driving their little Clown Car.

Absolutely! This is one issue where 90% (and more) of the public would agree with him. President Trump, get moving on this!
And by the way, I don’t mean send out a Tweet. That’s preaching to the choir. A news conference on this issue would be much better.
