Its interesting to go back and watch election night 2016 , and see the reactions of those media types, as they were clearly shocked at the results.

Yes, they are a big joke... most especially Fox News polls. Worse is their pathetic news-whores waving these polls around in public. Does any objective thinking person in his right mind think that Biden would win if the election were held today?

Then the vapid, lying manipulators sit around in meetings wondering why they're going out of business.

To the Fox fraud metropoloids that lurk here, this isn't hard - YOU'RE GOING OUT OF BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU SUCK AND YOU LIE.

THink about it. You have a name that somehow implies trust - let’s say it’s “Encyclopedia Brittanica” for example. Whatever you say, a lot of people will accept without question and will forward and share with their friends.

That’s a pretty powerful tool! And like all tools, can be used for good or for evil.

In the past, polling companies enjoyed this kind of name-trust and many still do. And they are businesses that need customers to pay them cash money to conducts polls. Now that sets the stage to tilt them to the evil side.

Instead of relying on scientific and statistical principles, it’s so easy to just put a hand on the scale, so to speak. And it’s so easy to justify dishonesty when you are convinced it’s for a good cause, “the greater good”.

So polls which were once intended to access voter sentiment have become tools for manipulating it. Polling companies can say whatever they want to and a certain number of people will beleive it and pass along the information without question. It’s not longer about assessing public opinion - it’s about shaping it through propaganda.

And it’s dirt cheap. Think of how much it costs to have have a bunch of people doing fake-based polls vs. having to buy time on TV or Facebook or in the print media.

The corruption of the polling industry was probably inevitable, it’s just too much of a low-hanging fruit. The inability to see it for what it is is the problem.

I believe polls could be accurate if they were done in an honest fashion. However polls have become jokes because those running polls are not honest. They stopped trying to discover what Americans think to trying influence the way Americans think.

Pollsters have become the used car salesmen of politics. Willing to do what ever it takes to “sell” their candidate.

I wonder if a pollster could use crowd turn out at campaign rallies as a measure other than robo calls.

My recent survey indicates that 87.5% of poll results are not believable at all.

Polls this early are completely useless. Closer to election day they are better.

In 2016 the finals polls had an average lead for Clinton of 3.2%, the election had a Clinton lead of 2.1%

Are Polls The Biggest Joke In Politics?

Second only to the politicians themselves.

The more discredited polls become, the easier it becomes to eliminate phony politicians who rely on them. They’ll have to find some other phony trick to rely on.

President Trump has this great ability to make his haters irrelevant!

His “surprise victory” in 2016 proved the pollsters were irrelevant and were BSers as much as the left wingers and faux conservatives on ABCNNBCBS who hate him 24/7.

They will be totally irrelevant before he is reelected in 2020!

Polling companies make money on repeat customers. The entire corporate media is hard core cultural marxist. When political season comes around, the polling companies are incentivized to give their customers the answers they desire to push the narrative of selecting who they want to run the country. Most of these companies also probably reside in the same coastal urban zones and are buddies with the corporate media which just amplifies their confirmation bias, after all Hillary was a +90% slam-dunk winner .. and they actually believed the +90% number and were celebrating it until the returns began coming in.

If Trump's polling numbers were good, would the MSM even tell you?

That's all you need to hear right there.
