Electronic material that Infowars host Alex Jones turned over to the families of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims who are suing him contained images of child pornography, according to a court filing Monday.
The filing also accuses Jones of threatening Christopher Mattei, a lawyer for the families, and his law firm, during an online broadcast of The Alex Jones Show on Friday in which he angrily claimed that unnamed people were trying to set me up with child porn.
Ill get your ass, Jones said, before offering a $1 million bounty for information that led to the apprehension and conviction of whoever sent him emails containing child porn.
Jones, who is being sued in Connecticut for allegedly defaming the Sandy Hook families, adamantly denied having known that child porn images was contained in email attachments sent to his Infowars media company.
Jones said that FBI has informed him that there is no evidence that he ever opened the emails containing the porn, or that he ever sent porn himself.
And he implied that the lawyers for the families suing him were behind an effort to put child porn into his electronic files.

Im going with the FBI on this. They still have some good agents down in the ranks.
Unfortunately it’s easy to insert illegal material on most computers from a remote location. It is almost impossible to prove that you didn’t have anything to do with it, other than to not use your computer for email and keep it off the internet, but use disposable phone for emailing and surfing.
I would think, or hope, law enforcement in general if not the FBI in particular would have competent enough techies that can determine if images were placed on to a computer in question not by its primary user but by someone else. Seems to me that shouldnt be too difficult to determine.
Jones is a nutcase who believes 9/11 was staged by our own government, and sorry, I havent lost that much trust to go down that rabbit hole. So his latest dumbassery vis a vis Sandy Hook is no surprise. With all that said though, all disdain hereby attached to the man, even I have a hard time believing he is a kiddie toucher.
But it wouldnt surprise me so much as to dismiss it completely. He clearly has mental issues.
I think Jones develops some decent data on the many hidden agenda operations that we all know are occurring. We all know this. The maps most citizens use to decipher current events were drawn by Walt Disney, they are cartoonish. We know that conspiracy exists. The John Birch Society have whooped and hollered about it since the 1950’s. Huge sums of money are handled under the radar on this planet and the fates of nations hang in the balance. Nation states have an enemy they know nothing about. Jones hits the target often enough for me.
He should sue CNBC for that headline.
The FBI that railroaded Donald Trump is “law enforcement”.
The CTNews or whatever they are had better watch out. Their headline infers that Alex Jones sent the emails to the lawyers. The lawyers requested a mass dump of all Alex Jones emails and then they immediately notified the FBI when they found the porn (and probably opened it). Since Alex never did, it obviously looks like someone might have sent him the emails and then, expecting the emails to emerged opened.
It’s Papodopolous all over again.
His lawyer said Jones is considered a victim. Jones did not open the emails that were sent to him with child porn.
Clearly a set up for anyone taking time to look for the facts.
I largely agree with your comment. But not sure if I am prepared to excuse his behavior on the basis of mental illness. Some people are just morally depraved. And absent evidence to the contrary that’s what I’m going with. Alex Jones is evil.
His ISP should have these files too and I would think that they would know the origin and what he did with them.
Jones is a big target of the deep state so this isnt surprising.
Only a guilty person would take that as a personal threat. Was there more?
What better way to trash the reputation of anyone - especially fringe political figure who is nonetheless a thorn in the side of the deep state and establishment - than to accuse them of child porn?
Interesting how Julian Assange was also accused of underaged rape.
It is possible that someone may have tried to set that miserable SOB up.

Yes, just as it is possible that someone may have tried to set Trump and his associates up. It happens....and it happens a lot! I dont doubt it for a minute that Jones was the target of an attempted set up.
With enough clairvoyants like you around we wouldn't even need a court system!
I won’t believe it until all 17 agencies sign off on it!
Oh yes, kooky tin foil hat conspiracy theories...
Like the one where the FBI, CIA, NSA, State Department, media et al conspired and attempted to undermine, compromise and overthrow a legitimate presidential candidate and then the President of the United States.
I know a lot of people doin’t like him but why would Jones insert CP into images he sent to a hostile party?
I agree, Alex Jones is a sometimes nutty over-the-top voice crying in the wilderness but he has a way of ferriting things out, and I think important people do talk to him. My eldest son once said this about Jones: 75% of the time he sounds like an insane nut, the other 25% he is a genius, and perhaps the the most prescient voice in the world. I think it is worthwhile to tune in to AJ every once in a while to get his take on things, even though I personally find his misogyny offensive — although he has been saying much less in that regard lately.
Law enforcement is held in such low esteem in such matters that if a smart guy planted evidence on his own computer and made it appear to be an obvious plant they would be unable to go to court at all...no jury would believe them.
It will be very hard to regain the public’s trust.
