Former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe said the impeachment of President Donald Trump is "absolutely" warranted in an interview with CNN's Chris Cuomo on Thursday. McCabe denounced Trump, saying there is a difference between taking information acquired "illegally" from "representatives" of a hostile foreign government while defending Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign, as CNN's Chris Cuomo put it, "paying Russians for information to amass a dossier."
"Does the argument that, yes, OK, you shouldn't have Russians giving you anything and you shouldn't have been paying Russians for information to amass a dossier the way Clinton did -- do you see these as analogs?" Cuomo asked McCabe.
"Not at all, Chris. There's no equivalence between those two examples," McCabe responded. "To openly invite foreign intelligence officers, representatives from a hostile foreign government to steal information, to acquire opposition research in anyway, in any illegal way that they might do that and to present it to you is one thing."

same logic isn't it?
Knowing how he and Comey corrupted Obama’s FBI, do you think McCabe would recommend that Biden turn over to “Trump’s FBI” any opposition research dropped in his lap from another country?
McCabe is corrupt, but he isn't an idiot, although he acts like he is. He and his fellow travelers are still claiming that Trump's joke about Russia finding Hillary's missing emails (missing from servers that the FBI had at the time) was somehow an actual request to the Russian government.
But Steele, Halper, Mifsud weren’t just ANY individuals.
They were known spies.
Now, Mr. McCabe, is it illegal to contract out oppo research to foreign governments?
I thought McCabe was in jail!?!?!?!?!?!?
No that’s not good enough. You need at least 2 middlemen to make it legal.
Hillary & DNS went through a law firm. That law firm then contracts another company to write a phony dossier (I mean research). Then that “research” company can pay anyone they want for the lies to target our election.
Then when she gets the paid for lies she gives them to the FBI to open a phony investigation. Oh wait, no she doesn’t give it to them...I believe she farmed that out to others to make it look legit.
And here’s the big one...if you do this it’s ok. You have to be a democrat.
I heard this on the radio and burst out laughing.
“An AMERICAN firm (the DNC) contracts with an AMERICAN lawyer (activist firm Perkins Coie) who subcontracts to a research firm owned by an AMERICAN (Fusion, Glenn Simpson), who happens to subcontract to a foreign expert (Steele).”
In other words, run your pre-determined dirt through enough cutouts, and its completely different than listening to someone who calls you out of the blue. Because, money is patriotically sprayed around to the cutouts, who are AMERICAN. As if the whole thing wasn’t known and planned in advance, because we know from WikiLeaks that Hillary was running the DNC, because she was funding it, and had contracted with them to have near complete control through her puppet Debbie Wasserman.
This guy McCabe must be great at delivering joke straight-lines.
Also, according to this “theory,” Donald Jr. was completely in the wrong, because he listened to Velitskaya, who came to him out of the blue (although she met with Fusion before and after the meeting).
And I thought DC Comics Bizarro world was strange back in the day!
The President asked Comey about McCabe. Comey said "he's a good guy...you'll like him".
Now where have I heard that "he's a good guy" before.....ahhhhh....That's what Trump said about Flynn....according to Comey's memo.
What are the chances both Comey and the President would use the same phrase to describe two very different people.??
"0" Comey made up what the President said...to make it fit his agenda.
Now, Mr. McCabe, is it illegal to contract out oppo research to foreign governments?
But they were our spies! So McCabe will say that's OK, since they were working for us. For all we know the contents of the Steele dossier were drafted in Langley, or Chappaqua NY, or in John McCain's office, or right down the hall from McCabe's office.
McCabe is just a corrupt Democrat, he will say anything to support the left's agenda.
Hiring a foreign power....is treason when it’s used to take down a President...OR President elect.
[VINCENT]
Okay what do you want to know?
[JULES] Well, oppo research is legal over there, right?
[VINCENT]
Yeah, It's legal but it ain't hundred percent legal, I mean, you just can't walk into the FBI, hand over a dossier and start takin' away. They want you to obtain the fake documents so they appear more real.
[JULES]
And how do you do that?
[VINCENT]
Yeah, It breaks down like this, ok, it's legal to buy opposition, it's legal to own it, and if you're the proprietor of a oppo research, it's legal to sell it. It's legal to pay for it, but...but that dosen't matter, cause, get a load of this; all right, if you pay a foreign government thru a cut-out, like law firm, the FBI will then publish your fake opposition research. I mean that's a right only Dems have.
[JULES]
Oh, man, I'm goin', that's all there is to it. I'm f'n goin'.
Apparently McCabe has a problem knowing what’s legal and what isn’t.
Is McCabe a lawyer.
Where's Mrs. Miller?
“I thought McCabe was in jail!?!?!?!?!?!?”
If you’re serious, you must’ve been smoking the sofa when that entered your head. None of the bad guys are in jail. Some of the good guys are in jail. If you remember that rule of thumb, you can’t go wrong.
Are you telling me that bureaucrats aren’t holding fellow bureaucrats legally accountable for criminal activity ?!?!?!?!?!?
By that logic nobody on either side has done anything wrong. After all, the information published by Wikileaks (an internationally renowned NGO with staff located around the world), came from sources in the USA (maybe even Seth Rich), and at a minimum was transferred over AMERICAN internet service provider's systems, and probably duly recorded by the NSA, an AMERICAN organization. Wikileaks staff met with people affiliated with the transfer of the information in Washington, DC, an AMERICAN city.
The information from John Podesta's emails was created by AMERICANS (and some other crooks he worked with internationally) and stored on AMERICAN servers at Google. Once John stupidly gave his password to somebody, that information was taken and published. Again, AMERICAN internet service providers were involved, and then AMERICAN news agencies and AMERICAN individuals at many places, including the AMERICANS who log onto 4Chan spread the information.
When you apply liberal nonsense logic to the facts you get exactly the opposite of the result they think you do. Whatever "dirt" was revealed during the campaign always flowed through multiple parties along the way.
Of course the really important message that the left and the deep state are trying to bury is that the actual communications of John Podesta, Hillary Clinton, and their associates showed them to be shallow, power hungry, egotistical, corrupt fools. Had Clinton, Podesta, and their associates been the kind of leaders the voters deserve their emails would have been an inspiration to the nation and been very helpful to their campaign.
When your day to day communications are "dirt" you are probably not the right party to be leading the country.
I think this is a very good example of what is referred to as situation ethics.
Conservatives and moral people know that there are certain immutable Rights and Wrongs. Liberals and socialists believe that right and wrong are flexible depending on the situation and are usually determined by what benefits them.
It’s only Legal if you Commit Felony Money Laundering in the process.
Can you imagine Biden trying to bring this up in a debate. Trump would reduce him to a brown puddle on his chair.
