Notice what important thing did not happen this week. Iran mined two tankers and the price of oil only went up about $3 per barrel. It is about $20 down from last year’s high. If it weren’t for fracking and domestically produced oil and gas, the price would have shot up over $100, like it used to when Iran got colicky. What this means is, we don’t HAVE to intercede. President Trump has options; lots of them. End oil and gas leases and it cuts down the president’s options and we could end up in a war. Obviously, Beta hasn’t thought this through.

I didn’t read the article. But I’m betting there was no mention that by getting to “zero emissions” the U.S. would solve the CO2 “problem” FOR 15% OF THE ATMOSPHERE.
To achieve zero emissions for the other 85% would require that we go to war with every country on earth since none of them will be stupid enough to attempt their own Green Old Deal.

It amazes me how a person that naive can possibly run for a national office. Wind power and no oil......no aircraft, take a ship to Europe or Hawaii,...tear down skyscrapers and replace them with energy efficient buildings....if the U.S. became 100% clean, it would make virtually no difference the global environment.

The bottom line is all forms of energy are good! oil coal gas nuclear wind power solar geothermal you name it they’re all good
