I'm sure everybody saw this coming. The only question is, how long before this becomes the law of the land?

Is smoking dope some mind of civil right?

What about truck drivers, first responders, security guards, railway workers, miners and anyone else in potentially dangerous jobs.

Federal courts! The possession of even minute quantities of marijuana is still a Federal offense punishable by up to one year in prison for a first offense.

So those who lost their job
due to testing positive
for marajuana use can now
sue to get their job back?
What happens when a employer
fires a underporforming
employee due to his’ being
stoned on the job? Pot
creates procrastinators.

Surely this insane law will not stand SCOTUS scrutiny?

Gotta be unconstitutional!

This is setting Nevada businesses up for law suits when the dopers are fired for not doing their jobs.

Time to sue the government for undue liability.

Nevada has drunk the same kool-aid that California ingested.

It’s fatal - don’t do business there.

Another insane decree by the gubment wonks.

The other day in a fairly large group, I mentioned that insurance rates in pot legal states have soared and to look for that here. “Oh, I hadn’t thought about that.” many said.

Gee whiz. Whoda thunk?

I presume that that includes law enforcement agencies also.

Who knows, but it is coming.

Airline pilots, physicians, surgeons, and all professions and disciplines will be included.

In the future one cannot discount being flown in airliners who crew are high from recently smoking marijuana. Having their surgical procedure paused while the surgical team goes burns one. Or standing before a judge that hes just smoked a joint. Or being pulled over by a police officer that has just finished burning a joint. Plus the oodles of impaired drivers on the highway[s]

Pot turns its addicts to the left. That makes it far more dangerous than alcohol.

This is awful for Nevada to involve itself in this issue. Everyone knows that Marijuana messes with your cognitive powers. Therefore, Nevada says you must hire someone who is not all there all the time. That is wrong!

There are employers that prohibit tobacco used even in off hours.

So is pothead now a protected group like homosexual or crossdresser?

This is a great decision. Anyone taking CBD oil from cannabis for pain, never getting high for one second, would not be able to work in NV. That isn’t fair.

Man, you people are wildly misinformed and intolerant.

1. you wouldn’t like it if employers could test for any beer you’ve had in the last 2 weeks, and fired you for it. Why should someone who had a joint at a party 2 weeks ago be fired?

2. As I said previously, people who never get high for one second but take CBD oil for pain not be able to work? Advil is fine, CBD oil is not?
