The illegal immigrant who bludgeoned a New York socialite with a fire extinguisher at her Westchester estate in 2015 was sentenced to 22 years to life in prison on Thursday, as he publicly begged for forgiveness.
Esdras Marroquin Gomez had pleaded guilty in May to murdering Lois Colley, the wife of a millionaire McDonalds franchise owner.
Gomez had worked on the Colleys 300-acre estate about five times but was not employed there at the time of the murder. According to his defense attorney, Gomez went to the property, Windswept Farm, on the day of the murder to talk to Eugene Colley, Lois husband, because he wanted compensation after a chainsaw injury he had sustained on the property as well as a plane ticket back to his native Guatemala.
Gomez ultimately bludgeoned to death the 83-year-old woman whose son made headlines in 2003 after he had an affair with Gov. Andrew Cuomos wife, Kerry Kennedy, leading to their divorce and left her body in the homes laundry room, where a family caretaker later discovered it. [ ]
After his sentencing in Westchester County, the 34-year-old Gomez asked God for forgiveness and said he wished he could reverse what hed done and die in Colleys place.

Death penalty is more appropriate, obviously, but wont happen in Prince Andrews sanctuary state.
Would have been terrible if he got Cuomo instead of the woman.
Only 4 years later. Why the rush?

He’s just doing the jobs that Americans refuse to do. /W
He did it out of love! /Jeb!
He can still vote Democrat! /Nancy and Chuck
Do the crime, do the time!
He is doing the time for breaking mans law. How God judges his begging for forgiveness is above my perview. I have no judgement except by our rules and law. Beyond that, I wouldnt even offer to insert myself.
Because it's so nice to be able to pick up the illegal alien day laborer at some lumberyard and pay him cash off the books and not have to worry about OSHA or workmen's comp or health insurance or basic safety equipment or safety training videos etc. There's the attraction to these heartless people who hire the illegals: they're as disposable as a used paper towel.
Pick them up and throw there azz out of the country. Get the employer and send him with the deportee. Or better yet drop the illegal in his home country and the employer off mid ocean with a farewell rock.
He isn’t an “illegal immigrant”, he is an ILLEGAL ALIEN. But at least Faux News got it half right instead of using the politically correct term “undocumented”.
Not slow. Not fast. Just half-ast. At least I get real news at OAN.
Of course, when they do something to someone that has connections, they get quite a punishment. If it was someone like me or you, they might get a few years without being deported.
The takeaway is; dont hire illegals, it may end up killing you.
Nope no two sets of rules in this country. Kate Steinle murdered, perpetrator gets off. New York socialite murdered, and perpetrator gets time.

Its a violation of Federal law to use a product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Where are is the FBI or the CPSC or any of the other gazillion Federal agencies the rest of us are subject to?
Were FICA, income, state and local taxes being deducted and reported? How about UC insurance premiums? Why hasnt Homeland Security prosecuted this family for illegally hiring and sheltering this miscreant?
Oh, thats right. Theyre upper crusty NY socialites. And, no doubt, theyve suffered enough. So our betters in Federal, State, and local law enforcement will just let all those other crimes slide.
