It’s still very early, though. I think their ticket will be Harris-Buttigieg when the dust settles, but at the moment Biden and Bernie are at the top of their slate. I could be wrong, but if identity politics are what they’re going to be about in 2020, that’s about the kind of team I expect them to rally behind.
If Beto or Warren somehow emerge from this, I think Trump wins handily.
As long as Trump keeps his connection with his base and keeps them energized, I think he wins no matter who he faces.
It is, for now, but I can see them putting someone into Congress in an upset.

Lyn’ Ted back again with his “doubts”. The ungrateful Canadian-Cuban loves to share bad news, but has he accomplished anything? Has he actually helped Trump at any time? No on all counts.

I certainly hope so- but let’s not forget- obama did enough to LOSE a second term because he did absolutely nothing to help stimulate the economy, lied to us, job loses were at record highs, gas prices were record highs, people were desperate- yet he won a second term- when historically, when gas prices were high, a sitting president would lose a second term-
By all rights- the country was so bad off under obama- that there was no way he shoudla won a second term- he shoudla been kicked to the curb so to speak for failing so badly-
To sum up why he won- I’ll recount what happened when he got elected again:
A reporter asked a woman why she voted for obama for a second term (considering he hadn’t done anything for the nation in the last 4 years)- she got a crap eating grin on her face, and said “So i can git me some of dat obama-money” and when asked where she thought it could come from she got the crap eating grin again, shrugged her shoulders, and said “It’s juss free, dats all”
My heart sunk for America! They are buying the liberal agenda that promises to give everyone ‘free everything’
Even after 2 miserable failed terms of obama, they- the people, will still buy into the lie that they can get free stuff- and like one poster said- dem turnout was low because they thought hillary had it in the bag- The left are gonna pull out all the stops this election I believe- I just hope enough people actually learned their lesson when obama ruined the country, and will continue voting for Trump= Like You, I believe He certainly has done more than enough to warrant another term in the3 minds of many- but again, the draw for ‘free stuff’ promised by the left is powerful for low info voters—

It looked pretty in 2016. 2018 could have been better, be we’ s had some good news in the meantime despite the losses in the House. I think our prospects are better for 2020 than they were in 2016. Folks just gotta get out there and vote!!!

Trump got 46% last time. Due to demographics that group will be down to 45% or lower in 2020. If he retains 95% of his voters, he goes down to 42-43%. Can he get the needed 7-8% deficit with new supporters? Possibly, but it’ll be very tough.
I always consider the possibility of increased fraud. That doesn’t appear to be what’s talked about here.
It depends upon where the votes come from. You just can’t go by percentage.

Some of those Democrats may even exist, others will simply exist on paper, with votes that are fraudulently cast by crooked Democrats who cast multiple ballots around town during early voting or on election day.
Don’t care what, or how Cruz says it.
I don’t trust reporters to get him right or....whatever.
