Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) on Tuesday said that she doesn't want to spend much time discussing criticisms President Trump made about her while he was overseas last week, saying that doing so would give Trump a win.
"I'm done with him," she said at an event on fiscal policy hosted by the Peter G. Peterson Foundation.
"I don't even want to talk about it."
The Speaker added, "My stock goes up every time he attacks me."
During a Fox News interview last week while in Normandy, France, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of D-Day, Trump called Pelosi a “nasty, vindictive, horrible person” and a "disgrace."
Pelosi, who was also in Normandy last week, said that when she is on congressional delegation trips overseas, she doesn't criticize the president.
Trump, however, "took a different tact," Pelosi said.
The Speaker called Trump the "diverter of attention in chief" who wants to distract from his own behavior on issues such as trade.
“What bothers me more is that we’re talking about that instead of how to reduce the national debt,” the speaker said.
While in Normandy, Trump called Pelosi a “disaster” over her handling of a possible impeachment inquiry.
The president was targeting special counsel Robert Mueller for his comments on his report on Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and said he didn't think Pelosi would talk about the report.
“Nancy Pelosi, I call her 'Nervous Nancy,' Nancy Pelosi doesn’t talk about it,” Trump said, referring to special counsel Mueller's comments.
“Nancy Pelosi is a disaster, OK? She’s a disaster. Let her do what she wants, you know what? I think they’re in big trouble.”
Obama is the one who got us in this mess of deficits to the national debt with the ACA.

She sounds like a Valley Girl primadonna telling her teenage girlfriends that she’s breaking up with her boyfriend.
In fact, she’s the Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, who, every time she opens her mouth makes a fool of herself in front of the world.
“I’m done with him.”
Knowing this, how is the President going to sleep tonight?
Nasty Nancy we’re not through with you. You will have a nervous break down if there still is such a thing.
Dems in Congress want Trump to win again so they can continue to play the game of resist and do nothing. They are too lazy to do anything, especially lead.

Years ago when I sometimes used unsavory language, I often used the expression “Bullshit!”
As I grew up a bit and discovered it was not necessary to use such crude language, the expression became “BS.”
What did I really mean when I used those expressions?
I meant that something was ridiculous, or idiotic or a half truth or just stupid. It covered any number of negative formats. The dictionary defines it as: nonsense; especially: foolish insolent talk.
I have decided that I no longer will use either of those expressions in the future.
When I have a need to express such feelings, I will use the word “pelosi.”
Let me use it in a sentence. “That’s just a bunch of pelosi.”
I encourage you to do the same. It is such a nasty sounding word, it really packs a punch, we are no longer being vulgar, and it clearly expresses our feelings. If enough of us use it, perhaps the word could be entered into the dictionary.
When on a ranch watch your step and don’t step in pelosi. It will get on the bottom of your boot and won’t go away until the next election.
What a fitting and descriptive legacy for the Speaker of the House!
