The U.S. diplomatic corps, much of which hails from far-Left Ivy League institutions, has been the most defiant when it comes to obeying POTUS Donald Trump’s policies, as evident by the fact that several American embassies have hoisted the “gay pride” rainbow flag in defiance of the president.
After the Trump administration formally denied requests from multiple United States embassies to hoist the LGBT flag in honor of “Pride Month,” several of them, along with other diplomatic missions, are doing it anyway.

Frankly I’ve been thinking that the reason no one is in jail wrt the coup attempt is that the deepstate are digging in and are in out and out mutiny. The president aND Barr are isolated Why wouldn’t the deepstate actively mutiny? As we see again and again the Left ACT and damn the consequences. Aren’t those flags up now? There ya go...
Yes, that might apply under the "Captain of the Ship" doctrine, but there are a lot of moving parts in such an instance:
Was the ambassador even on site or otherwise have knowledge of the event?
Has embassy security along with USMC id'd those that actually hoisted the pennants" (not difficult)?
Were the hoisters U.S. citizens or non-citizens who had access (great way to get rid of an ambassador militant locals do not like)?
Were the pennants immediately removed? Etc.
Excellent observation, and yes, I think that is the goal. They want to pushback against Judeo-Christian teachings.
That's for the "gays". For the Embassy personnel staff, it's all about "Virtue Signaling" to show how embracing of"diversity" they are to their social peer group.
