If you own an ambulance service (obviously an "essential" service) you shouldn't be allowed to deny service to *anybody* regardless of how much you (or God) might disapprove of their lifestyle.

OTOH,florists, bakers and photographers do *not* provide an "essential" service. Therefore such individuals should be able to choose their customers...particularly given the 1st Amendment.

I own a business. I can’t imagine how these people get in discussions on sexuality. I would not know if a customer was gay, a Martian or an animal. Just give me the green please. People are so dang nosey.

Yeah, but when it’s a wedding cake with two dudes on the top, it was kind of a red flag and went against their religious beliefs.

Do you own a business involving the wedding industry?

I think I could make the cake, but leave the topper off of it. I would tell them that they can add it. I do not have those things in stock.

That’s a good idea, but probably wouldn’t have worked. I think the couple went in looking for a fight so the result would have been the same regardless.

I own a business. I can’t imagine how these people get in discussions on sexuality. I would not know if a customer was gay, a Martian or an animal.

Because the homosexuals are intent on making it manifest, so that they can attack the Christian business for discrimination.

I know of no such case resulting from the business being "nosey" and asking In the case of Jack Phillips and Masterpiece he refused to agree to create a special cake for the express purpose of celebrating a out-of-state homosexual marriage which even CO law also did not recognize.

In this case, the homosexual couple had been customers of Stutzman's shop for nine years, but when they asked her to provide flowers for their wedding, the florist declined, citing her Christian beliefs.

Thus no one was being nosey, for when 2 men ask you to create something for their wedding, the sexuality aspect is obvious. And refusing to be complicit in the celebration of it - which they would be in such a clear case as this - should be allowed for non-essential services as regards morality, vs. amoral aspects such as race.

A patriot should be punished for refusing to sell a flag for the expressed purpose of desecrating it, or a black or Jewish baker for a cake for a KKK celebration.

The problem is that SCOTUS has made it unlawful to not recognize homosexual marriage, and thus is forcing all the states to sleep in the bed they have made, and punish those who will not.

Stutzman was fined over 1,000 so far, and the state Supreme Court unanimously ruled hat her floral arrangements do not constitute protected free speech, and in further absurdity, that providing flowers (no any thing off the shelve, but a special work for said express purpose) to a same-sex wedding would not serve as an endorsement of same-sex marriage!

To add to the economic sanctions, GoFundMe removed a donation page for Stutzman. citing a violation of their terms of service. GoFundMe stated their policy bars fundraising campaigns it deems discriminatory. Except when they are discriminatory.

All of which is part of the larger demonic goal of compelling all to sanction the perversions of what God has created, to essential salute the flag of Sodom. Or else.
