This is a very interesting development and may well indicate a change in strategy; or, even more interesting, the execution of a pre-planned strategy, for General Michael Flynn. There is a possibility, with legal distance happening as a result of Weissmann and Mueller’s investigation concluding, that Michael Flynn may be shifting to offense.
Two separate court filings today show: (1) Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn has fired his legal team and retained new counsel; and, (2) the DOJ is filing the evidentiary documents (possibly Joe Pientka 302 and Kislyak transcript?) under seal.

There is another motion by the DOJ that says that previous filings placed under seal the government can now be released.
Weissmann and Mueller had held potential prosecution of Flynn Jr. as a threat against Flynn Sr. throughout the prosecution, plea and sentencing. With Weissmann and Mueller having ended their investigation, Flynn should be out from under that threat.
This comes shortly after the Special Counsel (Mueller) resigning and closing the office.
So they won’t be playing anymore. Nobody left to threaten his family with malicious prosecution.
I wonder if the President’s declassification order is part of these developments?
Or maybe Barr has found something significant.
If you’ll recall, the judge asked Flynn if he was asking to reopen the case. Through his lawyers, Flynn said no.
It can be tricky to revisit a guilty plea, but new evidence and a sympathetic judge could help.
Hard to know yet, but what was done to Flynn was an injustice, whether technically legal or not.
There’s no maybe about it.

Conservative Treehouse does present a pretty convincing case. I knew the 40 thousand foot view, but they document all the dots and then connect them. So while I fully believe this happened, and maybe it will all be reveled, I still doubt anyone will actually be held to account. This was not wiessman’s first rodeo and he is still a prosecutor held in high esteem by some.

DiGenova can’t acknowledge he has been hired until the judge signs an order granting the motion to withdraw. Flynn’s soo-to-be former lawyers knew they had to submit an order along with the motion. Just one more chance to delay justice for Flynn.
