CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte woman whose racist rant at two black women was filmed on video that went viral was sentenced to a year of unsupervised probation and no jail time on Wednesday.
Susan Westwood was sentenced after pleading guilty to misuse of the 911 system and two counts of simple assault, according to Meghan McDonald, spokeswoman for the Mecklenburg County District Attorney’ Office.
Judge Donald Cureton also ordered the 52-year-old Westwood to pay court costs, keep attending “community support” meetings and “any after-care alcohol programs recommended as a result of her substance abuse assessment,” McDonald said in an email to the Charlotte Observer.

Merely “yelling insults?”
North of the Mason-Dixon that would be considered “summary harassment”—receive a citation in the mail like a traffic ticket, pay the fine and costs and go on your way.

If she thought the two women were suspicious, the stupid woman should have just called the cops and let them do their job.
Why am I thinking if it’d been the black women yelling at the white woman, that’d be ok.

I suspect it was the reference to a weapon that got the assault charge.

Again, black people can threaten and yell insults with impunity and white people get the full force of the gun toting government against them.
