Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) announced his candidacy a few weeks ago. He made an appearance on ABC's "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" and one of the issues that came up was last week's tragic shooting in Virginia Beach.
Naturally, Bennet argued for stricter gun control laws. What's shocking, however, is his blame game. Bennet infer Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) is responsible for what took place because he fails to bring gun control bills before the Republican-dominated Senate.
"I think the president can make a difference. The House of Representatives have passed background checks to close the internet loophole. This person bought the guns lawfully as we know. Every single fact pattern will be different. We should pass those background checks. 90 percent of Americans support it," Bennet said.

The guy had a clean background. No laws the Dems have proposed would of stopped that incident.
Virginia Beach shooter, DeWayne Craddock, passed background checks for weapons four times, which included the suppressor used in the killing. Even a moron could figure out that no gun laws would have prevented the killing. The best line I have read: Blaming the guns for the deaths is the same as the kid blaming the pencil for failing the math test.
Typical dummocrap politicizing a tragedy, making hay of peoples’ deaths. They have all the moral character of a street rat.
Michael Bennett? Who is he?? Another clown running for president...? Hey, Bennett, was the shooter wearing a MAGA hat?
A well deserved description. That is why I call them "DemonRATs," another well deserved term for them.
Once again, another DemonCRAP has dropped another load on the putrefied sidewalk on the political landscape. It is getting so bad, we need a poop map for our own well-being. All the reason to do cleanup in 2020.

THere is no internet loophole, if you order guns on the internet, you obtain them from a local FFL that will do the background check.
And as Bennet noted, the shooter did purchase his guns legally, and nothing proposed would have changed this shooting, or the last 4 shootings.
Interestingly, the closest thing anybody has done that could possibly have made any difference for any of the last half-dozen shootings was Donald Trump, banning bump stocks, which might have slowed down the Vegas shooter slightly, had we actually eliminated bump stocks, which we can’t really do.
