Over the weekend, another ranking Democrat, Rep. James Clyburn of South Carolina, appeared to placate the Donkey Party’s increasingly radicalized and Marxist base by intimating POTUS Donald Trump likely will be impeached by the House “at some point.”
The Hill reported:
When Tapper asked Clyburn if he thought Democrats would launch impeachment proceedings against Trump, he said “yes, that’s exactly what I feel.”
“What Nancy Pelosi is trying to do, and the rest of us in the House of Representatives, is developing a process to efficiently move on this issue so when we get to the vote, something she calls iron clad I call effective, that is why we are trying to take our time and do this right,” Clyburn said.
Clyburn said the House Democrats are not “particularly interested in the Senate,” but rather are waiting to “bring the public along.”
Bring the public along. Yes, well, good luck with that.

They don’t want to impeach. They just want to threaten that they could impeach at any time - right up until election day.

The threat of impeachment gives stupid Americans a vague feeling of uneasiness. It makes the ill-informed and under-informed feel like something bad is going on with the president, and could actually cause them to vote for some idiot Democrat. (I know that’s redundant).
They are in a lose, lose position.
They’re damned if they do and damned if they don’t.
DJT is going to go on gaining support and they’re going to lose support.
At what point do the Republicans in the House call their bluff and introduce articles of impeachment themselves. Of course, Pelosi would never let it get to the floor, so it would be a optics only. However, they would shown to be disingenuous for constantly talking about it.
Yes we need to educate the public.
We need to educate the public that impeachment is to happen in cases of treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. In other words in a case of criminal offenses.
Impeachment is not supposed to happen, in cases of political policy differences, or because liberals charge a president is racist sexist xenophobic Etc.
Impeachment is not supposed to happen because the opposition political party did not like the results of the election which put that president in office.
Let’s get real—a stronger motive is not wanting to be executed for treason.
The Republicans should be trolling them about this non-stop. Fish or cut bait. ____ or get off the pot.
Dems know their agenda is pure garbage, and that only their commie base wants it, the rest of America, not so much..so they cant run on their agenda, so they want to be true Commies and destroy everyone and anything that gets in their way..they admit it everyday, they are such morons, they are basically admitting they cant beat Trump legit
Republicans should introduce it in the House today, just like with the Green New Deal, see how many Dems would vote YES, for the Green New Deal not ONE Dem voted for it
So, they are looking for candidates that support gun confiscation, 90% tax rates, open borders with free health care for illegals, 9 month abortions and the repeal of the electoral college and Amendments 1,2 and 14.
And, they must be Moderates.
Their base does.
Their leadership does not.
Their leadership knows what will happen if they do.
Their base does not care, or are too ignorant to know what happened with Clinton’s impeachment.
The more their base get vocal, and now physical [See Matt Gaetz attack], the leadership will have a harder time keeping the lid on.....................
Exactly, some whackadoos want to no matter what, but the bulk know its a dead end, and a SLAUGHTER for them at the polls....
Unfortunately though they have pandered to the whackadoos so much they don’t know what to do.
So my guess is they will stall, and just say look we don’t have the senate we need you to vote for D senators in 2020....
Because they have a completely losing hand in 2020, and that’s probably the best of the bad hand they have to play.
Doubt it will do anything, other than MAYBE keep the GOP from gaining a few more Senate seats...
If they start impeachment before November, they will be SLAUGHTERED up and down the ballot and know it...
Which is why I say... PUT UP OR SHUT UP!
You have the house.. you can bring up and pass articles of impeachment anytime you want.... Anytime since January of this year, and haven’t done it... and frankly every sane person knows you will get beating like a rented mule if you do....
Impeachment is to the Dems what repealing Obamacare was the the GOP.. Could have done it at any time, but stalled and didn’t get it done...
A LOUD SEGMENT OF THEIR BASE DOES... Don’t think that most D voters are the whackadoos.... Just the whackadoos scream the loudest.

The democrats will impeach, but the timing has to be right. When Barr starts revealing the treason, and they feel they would have nothing to lose, the democrats will then respond with impeachment proceedings to deflect press coverage and try to run out the clock.
If anyone thinks the democrats will ever quit...They will never give up and quit.
And when they are soundly defeated, the next day they will convene, double down, and plot how to comeback.
