Peggy Noonan did one worthy thing in her life. In the end she tried to fix a bio of Ronald Reagan, and it's obvious she admired Reagan a great deal.
Otherwise, what has she ever done to convince anyone she was a conservative? She loved the clintons, both of them. It seems like she thought obama worthy, although for me, that's a feeling more than based on her columns.
To call Peggy Noonan a conservative is less apt that calling George Will a conservative. At least Will was once. When he shilled for Hillary he created an obstacle for himself that probably can't be breached.
At least Will shilled for hillary because he was a never-Trumper. Noonan said out loud in a column regarding the clintons that she loved these two. That makes Noonan and conservative oxymoronic in the same sentence.

Why is that word used so loosely? Most of those who call themselves conservatives are nowhere near what a true conservative is.

There’s plenty of suppressed resentment there at how he’s mortified them and lowered things.
I don't understand how anyone could possibly lower "things" compared to the despicable behavior of the Bush family. For example, were the lives of any innocent people in danger whenever Jenna Bush allegedly ran red lights to ditch her Secret Service detail?
