I have a lingering suspicion that Trump’s tariffs on Mexico aren’t aimed at pressuring Mexico to stop the flood of invaders. They’re aimed at pressuring Congress to change the stupid laws that let every mutant on the planet show up at a border crossing and file a claim for asylum.
