I DONT KNOW enough about the life span of guns to know the turnover rate

A properly cared for firearm can last through many generations.

Would that other products could last that long!

Properly cared for probably takes a decent amount of effort, I assume, to last that long?

Rust? Aged parts? Frequency of us? These play any part in the lifespan? thanks.
