Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez declared war on whiskey sour mix — and somehow turned it into a political point about the struggles of being a woman in politics.
The Queens bartender-turned-lefty lawmaker reminded folks of her recent working past by warning cocktail-lovers to stick to natural juices when making spritzer drinks.
She also trumpeted the attributes of the “underrated” Garibaldi cocktail, which includes Campari and orange juice, sometimes with a spritz or prosecco sparkling wine.
All this might sound a little yuppie. But the self-proclaimed woman of the people spun her mixology know-how as evidence of her ability to speak for working people and woman.
Ocasio-Cortez lashed out at right-wing critics of herself and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Massachusetts), the ex-Harvard professor and fellow anti-Trump firebrand.
“Women are critiqued ... for being too smart to be attractive or too attractive to be smart,” she wrote.
nd of course, AOC continued to stake her claim as one of President Trump’s harshest critics on the left.
On Tuesday night, she responded to a condescending Twitter troll by saying she could “win a Nobel prize in Physics and they’d still call me dumb.” She mocked Trump for his bizarre claims suggesting wind turbines can cause cancer and his outrageous boasts about fondling women against their will.

As to the Nobel Prize, aspire to the Peace Prize, not physics. they'll give that one to any liberal fool. Not suggesting AOC is a fool, or unqualified for the physics prize. No reason a drink mixer couldn't get that.
