I have no doubt they are studying UFO’s, people have seen too many strange objects in the air. Lots of books and materials out there asking questions about how DNA/RNA is designed, and the mathematical probabilities that its complexity was found by some accident of nature vs by design. We think we are great engineers with nano-tech. Look at the engineering of DNA. OTOH, there is no evidence to support evolution. So both 'theories' exist. But its up to your belief system.

There are better videos that show the designators atop the HUD that indicate the display being switched from "visual video" (white image) to "FLIR" (infrared -- black image). The targeting reticle object shows up strongly in both spectral domains.
Reports claim that these objects have been detected visually and on video, IR, and on RADAR. That encompasses a very wide spectral range.
