Isn’t that an oxymoron of sorts... Giving somebody who believes in UFO’s a job as the ‘Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence’.
I do not classify people who are gullible enough to believe in little green men, ghost and unicorns as intelligent.
How do you get “little green men” from unexplainable aerial craft? It’s always surprising to me when people link empirical evidence with mythology as if the two just naturally go together when in fact they would seem to be complete opposites.

I’d rather have a someone with an open mind in an office such as that, than someone with a mind as closed as yours. It’s pretty gullible to believe that only that which one can see exists. To deny the possibility shuts down any possibility of learning and exploring that which isn’t yet known.
