A High School kid shooting up his classroom is not the same thing as a gang war in Chicago.
I’m not so sure. In both cases, they think they are killing their enemies. Wiping out as many as possible.
Only if the definition so states.
It is pretty clear that the narrative fits the news when it is a majority person misunderstanding guns, it does not fit when minority persons are gangbanging in the projects.
True.... one is constant, and claims many lives every week. One is occasional. For some reason, we only consider the occasional one to be a problem worthy of discussion.
Right. A High School kid shooting up his classroom is rare.
A hoodrat shooting multiple hoodrats in an economically depressed urban area is commonplace, an almost everyday occurrance.
Clearly, some lives matter less to Big Media than others.
True. I perused the article at the link and most of the shootings are one dead a few wounded. Most likely there was one intended victim and the others are just bystanders.
I say this because Ive done some research on mass shootings and inner city violence. Inner city violence, which is mostly black on black violence, is usually directed towards one person, the other casualties are bystanders. Mass shooters go into it with the intent to kill a large number of people. Most mass shooters are white males. Also most serial killers are white males.
“A High School kid shooting up his classroom is not the same thing as a gang war in Chicago.”
Well, a middle aged man shooting up his office is not the same as a high school kid shooting up his classroom either, but they lump those together because it fits the narrative.
