The lie that will not die: Most mass shooters are white.
Just Google "white mass shooters," and you will find hundreds and hundreds of stories from The Grio, Root, Salon, CNN, PBS, and Newsweek, right up to the Washington Post, with headlines likes this, from Vice: "Why are so many mass shootings committed by young white men?"
All accompanied with fairy tales like this from the Washington Post: "a consistent pattern: Young, white men with demonstrable backgrounds of mental instability or violence against women taking the lives of as many people as possible."
At least one legacy media outfit figured out, however painful it was to report (and bury in the middle of the jump), that three quarters of mass shooters are black. That was the New York Times.
You read that right: mass shootings are a black thing. And we find them almost every day. Often more than one. In Philadelphia alone, they report one every eleven days.
Let's take a look at the headlines (with links) from a nine-day period ending Memorial Day, May 27. One at a time, most recent day first, until we reach the 26th mass shooting from a black person.

But ‘mass shootings’ have had (in the past) a very narrow definition ... and by that narrow definition white men tend to be the killers.
I suspect mass shootings are scarier for ‘elites’ because elites don't have their usual ‘controls’... like NOT living in a ‘bad’ (read inner city black) neighborhood, NOT being out after two AM, NOT being around drug dealers or mobsters, common street criminals etc.
“Random” scares ‘elites’ because they might be involved... and the press hates white men so it's a natural for the press to carry ‘mass murder’ stores and to ignore the real crime and multiple murders that happen every day...
This story is accurate - - this truth needs to be told.
The most recent statistics I could find reported that 52.2% of serial killers are white males, which appeared to be a drop from past years. Still white males make up about 31% of the population so they are over represented as serial killers. It appears that blacks and Hispanic serial killers are increasing for some reason.
Though the good news is that all violent crime has been dropping since the early 90s.

Well, a middle aged man shooting up his office is not the same as a high school kid shooting up his classroom either, but they lump those together because it fits the narrative.
We are still on the precipice. It’s just that our toes aren’tbhanging Over the edge. Obama and co. definitely had America by the throat and still does except that their grip isn’t quite so tight.

I don’t see it the way you do (American Thinker has never hit me that way) but I admit I could readily miss articles there that hit you that way because I only visit it about once a day, and I don’t read all the articles there.

Agreed brother/sister. I’m afraid the aXX-kicker is tied to Spygate/NSA unmasking, which probably involved our allies as “cut-outs” to circumvent US laws on citizen spying. Ever wonder why only a few house GOP members are enraged at spying on Trump? Why the frick did McConnell even let it get this far? Why not a helluva lot more GOP senators enraged? Might as well assume a significant number of house reps and GOP senators have been blackmailed (we lost the house)
WTF? We know the media has been spied on, therefore BLACKMAILED. Why not spy on a helluva lot more Fortune 500 companies.

Female serial killers exist but are rare, so taking into account the fact that most serial killers are male, the racial composition of this group of criminals isn't that far off from the population as a whole. Blacks, Hispanics, and Asians are not statistically under-represented.
Can we add DeWayne Craddock of Virginia Beach to the list?
Two more “mass shootings” in Chicago this weekend, as of 0400 Sunday morning.
That leaves roughly another 24 hours in this weekend.
