Last week he was sure the hammer was going to fall.
Now he’s hedging.
These guys get paid to talk.
Let’s just see what happens.
Who among We the People would be on the side of nonaccountable government agencies?
When will Liberals begin their ‘smear’ of HIM
I am weary of the innuendo, sources say, unsubstantiated opinion.
I crave for two things, facts and unbiased justice.
The first time I saw Wray testify before Congress, I concluded that he considered it his job to preserve the reputation of the FBI by covering up any past wrongdoing.
Who recommended this character?
In the private sector, insubordination is cause for dismissal.
Start firing people. Today.

I’m surprised Wray was chosen, but I am more surprised that he is still there.
Barr didn’t need instructions from Trump. Barr is doing his job and he has lotsa unanswered questions.
“... to the point where they have become excessively corrupt.”
I read this as some corruption is acceptable...
It is not.
Mr. President FBI Director Wray is not doing what you ordered. Ask him to “stop by” your office very soon. Tell Wray to do it. Provide a deadline. Then start talking to Wray’s replacement. Wray will “get it”. He is no better than Sessions, by the way. GET YOUR TEAM MEMBER INTO WRAY’S POSITION VERY SOON!
Barr told Congress last month he believed "spying did occur." "I don't want to speculate," Barr said. "What I will say is I've been trying to get answers to questions and I found that a lot of the answers have been inadequate and I have also found that some of the explanations I've gotten don't hang together. In a sense I have more questions today than I did when I first started," he continued.
"The fact of the matter is [special counsel] Bob Mueller did not look at the government's activities. He was looking t whether or not the Trump campaign had conspired with the Russians. He was not going back and looking at the counter intelligence program," Barr said. "And we have a number of investigations underway that touch upon it. The main one being the office of inspector general that's looking at the FISA warrants. But as far as I'm aware, no one has really looked across the whole waterfront," he continued.
He said it's important to look into what the government was doing at the time. "I think people have to find out what the government was doing during that period. If we're worried about foreign influence for the very same reason we should be worried about whether government officials abused their power and put their thumb on the scale and so I'm not saying that happened. But I'm saying that we have to look at that."
On the Steel dossier, Barr says that it was 'unusual' for that to be the basis of an investigation.
"Well, that's one of the questions that were going to have to look at, it's unusual to have opposition research like that one that on it's face had a number of clear mistakes and jejune analysis and to use that to conduct counterintelligence against an American political campaign. I'm not sure what role it played but that's something we have to look at," he continued.
The review being conducted by the U.S. Attorney in Connecticut, John Dunham, is not a criminal probe.
Barr said there were some "very strange developments" between election day and inauguration day that the Department of Justice wants to look into those, but wouldn't go into specifics. He did highlight a Jan. 6, 2017 meeting between the president and intelligence chiefs and "the leaking of information subsequent to that meeting." -----SNIP----

Having worked in and around the Intelligence Community for over 40 years, I’d like to offer a few observations:
What Barr is attempting to investigate is illegal and probably treasonous activity on the part of multiple IC agencies. (The FBI and the State Dept. are members of the IC, along with the Big Five and nine other agencies, departments and services.) National security classification guidelines clearly point out that the use of NATIONAL SECURITY CLASSIFICATION TO CONCEAL ILLEGAL ACTIVITY IS, IN AND OF ITSELF, ILLEGAL.
Christopher Wray is clearly attempting to rescue the FBI’s already piss-poor reputation. If he refuses to cooperate with Barr, he should be summarily fired and right now. I’m quite sure that Barr could come up with some suitable REAL obstruction charges for him and the same applies to Dan Coats and Gina Haspel.
By all accounts and according to some VERY reliable A-1 sources, some conspirators have already been indicted. Unseal and release those indictments and arrest the conspirators - NOW.
Finally, if Trump doesn’t deal with this decisively, he is toast and he will lose the support of those of us who waited patiently for the Mueller shit show to conclude and for justice to be done.
They didn’t give Nixon time to “get out of the mess”... how DEEP is this swamp? Barr has the go.. Trump gave him the go... if they all did wrong...and we all know they did... then carry on and get this elephant over with.. or they will go on doing what they can get by with.. at everyone’s expense!
That's plenty of time for Obama to have purged all conservatives and even liberals with a pretense of loyalty to the Constitution and the Law.
Trump and Barr have a difficult task breaking down those walls.
Interesting timing with Mueller...
Our nation needs nationally televised public executions... just a few will get most of these swamp creatures in line.
