A judge in Utah was suspended without pay for six months last week after criticizing President Trump — both online and in court — for his "political incompetence."
Judge Michael Kwan, who's been a judge court judge in Taylorsville, a suburb of Salt Lake City, since 1998. Between 2016 and 2017, he shared inappropriate posts on Facebook and LinkedIn about the president, according to Utah's State Supreme Court.
Kwan violated the judicial code of conduct and lessened "the reputation of our entire judiciary," Justice John Pearce wrote in an opinion on Wednesday.

Now if this policy could be applied to federal judges who crock up rulings against the President, I might like that.

What? Suspended by who and why is this not happening all across this Nation and for more than six months? Our judiciary would be a complete joke if it weren’t in fact and MENACE to our society. We have one branch of our government that has gone entirely off the rails and most are of the opinion it’s impossible to hold any of them accountable in any way. Let’s suspend every damn one of them!

The entire federal judiciary is guilty of conflict of interests. When does anybody address that abomination?

This judge is not in a significant seat. It is a court job appointed by the city council to deal with traffic violations, graffiti, small stuff.
One cause for removal is political prejudice. That’s why Roberts swears up and down that the court is not prejudice.

Newt, a historian, tells of an entire court that was dissolved by Pres. Jefferson (IIRC) for lesser offenses than placing a stay on an immigration rule by Trump, that they didn’t like. Disrobe the bahstids!
