When last we checked in on suspended Judge Shelley Richmond Joseph, she was in considerable hot water. Having allegedly conspired with as many as five people to orchestrate the escape of a criminal illegal alien from her courtroom, she was arrested and prosecutors didnt seem to be in the mood to let her off lightly. The charges shes facing could carry decades of jail time, not to mention the end of her judicial career.
But with a bit more time to think about it, the US Attorney handling the case appeared to have a change of heart. He decided to offer Joseph a deal in which she could avoid criminal prosecution if she admitted her behavior was improper and managed to not get into any more trouble for a year. A pretty sweet deal, eh? Apparently not in the judges opinion. She turned it down flat.
...
Shelley Joseph has become an overnight darling of the liberal left for helping a criminal illegal alien escape the clutches of ICE. She would almost certainly be offered some sort of university teaching position, book deals or a spot in a liberal think tank. Heck, for that matter, she could just learn to code. Most of those options would offer her a platform to pontificate and possibly even run for office. (I dont think the Democrats will hold a couple of felonies against her if it was done for the good of The Resistance.)

Just the facts ma’am...
It is afterall, all about the law.
“the judge needs to be in a cell with rosie odonnell for a month.”
[WIKI] [QUOTE] The Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution states: Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted. ... The Cruel and Unusual Punishments Clause is the most important and controversial part of the Eighth Amendment.[UNQUOTE]
Let her judgeship have her day in court, fine her, and throw her in the houska for a stretch, and strip her of her official title and duties of Judge. Disbar her if she has an attorney’s license, and make it be known that this type of behavior from someone who was appointed to be a legally responsible judge will not be condoned in any way, shape, or form.
And the same punishment needs to be exact it on the five attorneys and anyone else complicit in this illegal activity.
Looks like the Left cadre wants her to see if fighting it is falling on her own sword...if she wins, they all win, but if she loses, they all lose.
Taking a deal would have tainted their “ideals” so she takes the chance for the rest.
I think being in a cell with a couple of muslim teenage boys would be about right for her.
Aint it sweet when the smugness of the left is suddenly and unexpectedly shattered?
Sounds like were about to be smolletted again 👎
Hope this bitch sees jail time!!!
Sadly, in most systems, like here in Hamilton County Ohio, a plea offer tends to create a floor. When the lazy-ass Judge doesn’t want to sit through a trial, the first question in chambers is “what was the last offer?”
Every now and then, however, a prosecutor will pull a fast one and refuse to discuss a plea once it has been rejected.
Doubt that will happen here.

WTF? After the judge is an ex-judge and lifetime jailbird, the att'y needs a legal colonscopy. Thanks george76.
2 years ago the head of the Cal senate De Leon said he had helped the illegals in his family come and stay here. No investigation no arrest, no deportations.”””
He BRAGGED about it.
ON THE FLOOR OF THE LEGISLATURE
There isn't a Mayor or Governor of sanctuary City or State that is not guilty of breaking several statutes yet the AGs can't seem to find even one they are breaking to charge them with.
Clearly they arent making the administration near as mad as they claim.
