House Speaker Nancy Pelosi snapped at White House counselor Kellyanne Conway after a tense, aborted meeting on infrastructure Wednesday, a senior administration official told CNBC.
“I don’t talk to staff. I talk directly to the president,” Pelosi said after Conway asked the speaker a question, according to the official.
The interaction followed President Donald Trump’s abrupt exit from a meeting with Democratic congressional leaders.
Pelosi earlier in the day accused the president of engaging in a “cover-up” by blocking White House aides from providing testimony and responding to document requests from congressional investigations.
The president responded by saying he doesn’t “do cover-ups” and that he could not work with Democrats on legislation until they stopped investigating him.
In a last-minute press event at the Rose Garden, Trump said he “walked into the room and I told Sen. Schumer and Speaker Pelosi, ‘I want to do infrastructure’ ... but we can’t do it under these circumstances.”

I want the Senate Finance Committee to demand to see Pelosi’s tax returns and the returns for any business she and her husband own or invest in, and cross-check that with any bills passed while she had any power in the House, say bills aiding the tuna-canning businesses in US Pacific territories, or bills dealing with trade with the Chicoms.

How would you like it if one of us got in the grille of your secretary and let him/her have it just so we could publicly show our annoyance with YOU? I pray for “d pukes” all the time. I can’t say here WHAT I pray. I do think it would be interesting if one day every time a Rat, MSM, celebrity opened his mouth to bash PDJT, God would go all Tower Of Babel on them and make gibberish spew from their mouths.
First, it would be hilarious. Second, it would make it clear to the entire world that there is a God, that He’s in control, and whose side He’s on. There’s no way anyone could brush that off as a coincidence. I just imagine the looks on their faces when they realize that what they thought they said comes out as gobbledegook.
