House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy forced his fellow lawmakers to protect Chinese companies from being kept out of federal contracts for transportation projects because a company that would have been impacted is in his district.

This sort of sell-out is the (big) problem.

EVERYONE in charge, is sold out.

Everyone. Except (maybe) Trump.

Maybe. We will see.

If you still think Trump is or might be owned by someone at this point then there is no convincing you IMHO.

I was one of Trump’s earliest supporters.

For real.

But he has NOT done anything about China’s trade aggression yet.

Lots of preparation.

Lots.

But nothing, yet.

We all knew already that Kevin McCarthy cares more about Kevin McCarthy than he does anything else, quite literally. Yeah, he sucks up to Trump but don’t believe that he posses any degree of sincerity. This establishment swamp creature is too untrustworthy to ever become the Speaker so lets hope that never happens.

“Kevin McCarthy forced his fellow lawmakers”
How exactly did he force his fellow lawmakers?

So what do you call the tariffs then ? China’s biggest worry is not the tariffs which can be reversed but of companies relocating out of China.

Wars take time to win. We are in a full blown trade war with China. Contemplate this too. China is working with the Deep State to try to oust Trump.

I strongly support the tariffs, on China.

Strongly.

But they are (far) too small, to do anything.

Far, far too small, in my view.

Raise them, by a factor of ten.

I think you under appreciate exactly what President Trump has done. You don’t shoot all your armaments at once. You shoot in measured amounts, with the measured amounts increasing with each subsequent application. In addition, you tell them this is nothing compared to what is coming. Let them feel some pain with expectations of more pain on the next round. Sooner rather than later, they break.

And it’s too late for them. Their efforts are in vain and will only get people hurt or killed. All and I mean all the ugly truth is coming out.

This is exactly why the Chinese have been able to do what they do.....people selling out to them.

And that is one of the easiest ways for them to get their hands on our technology. Buy out a company and you get all the intellectual property, R&D, etc.

Look at what he’s done to their steel mills. Mills are opening up and expanding all over the US. That’s because of the tariffs, not only on China, but Canada & Mexico, as well.

China’s biggest worry is not the tariffs which can be reversed but of companies relocating out of China.

To promote made in America, long term tariff locks should be offered to USA companies that reclaim production from China. The tariff money should go towards robotics and automation investment. Already hard working machines indirectly pay most of our taxes, and with ballooning debt we need them to pay even more. Our children won't be servicing the national debt, our robots will be.

cba123: “But he has NOT done anything about China’s trade aggression yet.”

Unspoken? The more China hurts the better others in Asia do?
10% tariffs pushed to 25% tariffs when China backed away from
working agreements?

BTW - Please change your tagline to English since you’re apparently conversant in the language. I cannot tell from that whether you are FRiend or foe.

The GOPe, NeverTrumpers, Dims, MSM, Hollywood, the entire music industry, has beens from wherever not to mention most departments of our Intel agencies and their friends ALL after our President.

Sure glad we have your support.

For the record:

I did try:

Seems whatever answers were in Vietnamese. Is there an established North Vietnamese dialect I should search on? Yes I know there is only one Viet Nam now.

Per Wiki:

Vietnam (UK: /ˌvjɛtˈnæm, -ˈnɑːm/, US: /ˌviːət-/ (About this soundlisten);[9] Vietnamese: Việt Nam pronounced [vîət nāːm] (About this soundlisten)), officially the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnamese: Cộng hòa xã hội chủ nghĩa Việt Nam), is the easternmost country on the Indochina Peninsula. With an estimated 94.6 million inhabitants as of 2016, it is the 15th most populous country in the world. Vietnam is bordered by China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west, part of Thailand to the southwest, and the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia across the South China Sea to the east and southeast.[n 3] Its capital city has been Hanoi since the reunification of North and South Vietnam in 1976, while its most populous city is Ho Chi Minh City.

Go ahead and embarrass me for my ignorance.
