From Penna's Department of State web site, early results:
Keller (R) 7577
Friedenberg (D) 3297
The PA districts were drastically altered for the 2018 elections to steal 5 Congressional seats for the Demonrats via an illegal and unconstitutional state (Demonrat) Supreme Court order. They can’t be compared exactly for 2016 and prior.
“If I’m not mistaken, that District includes the headquarters and the museum for Little League Baseball (Williamsport/South Williamsport). “
Yes it does... all the way to the New York line... it’s cow country...
I’m in Centre, surrounded by PSU Blue, but I did get 5 people out for him today. All in all a great showing for a special election.
I used to teach at PSU.. Still have a home and farm in Central PA, but spend the winters in the south.

True, but the old 10th is pretty close to the current 12th. Those are the numbers.
I’m in town. My kids & money went to PSU & I’m retired here. I went to CUNY & Philadelphia Univ, and I’m down South too in the winter. I should have went this Spring given all the global warming here :)

Those supreme court tourists who voted for the unconstitutional lines to be re-drawn should be impeached by the Republican Congress in Pennsylvania
Jourists
Yes, they should’ve. Unfortunately, I think they lacked the numbers in the legislature to carry it out. Also, with an execrable Demonrat Governor, he’d have merely put more Demonrats on the Supreme Court. We needed Wolf to go down last November in order to restore the court back to lawfulness. What is most appalling is that SCOTUS didn’t slap down that blatantly unconstitutional action by the judicial thugs.

Yes, but, “Pennsylvania named third best place to find Bigfoot” https://www.pahomepage.com/news/pennsylvania-named-third-best-place-to-find-bigfoot/2015628808
If the results were the other way around it would be worth 24/7 coverage. This is a solidly Republican seat and the fact that the Republicans kept it is not that newsworthy.
If the election was so unimportant that the mainstream media should ignore it, why was Bret Baier et al running all week on the idea that it was a referendum on Trump? And why, if it was a done deal, did Trump feel it was necessary to have a rally in Keller’s district?
I have no idea why Bret Baier does what Bret Baier does. This is a solidly Republican area that went for Trump in 2016 and should go for Trump in 2020 with the same margins.
And why, if it was a done deal, did Trump feel it was necessary to have a rally in Kellers district?
Trump is looking to 2020. He needs Pennsylvania and I'd expect him to hold a number of rallies there between now and election day.
Not only did Keller win by nearly double the previous margin, but the GOP won three other statewide specials, one by just under previous margins and two by exactly the previous margins.
BTW, by my count, there are two unoccupied NC seats and the GOP now has 198. If the Rs hold those two, they will be down 35 going into 2020. OK5 is already looking good. So let’s say 34. That is a flip target of just 18 seats, or far lower than what the Ds had in 2018.
I think two seats in FL, at least two in CA, Loebsack’s seat in IA2 are all very much already in range. That would put the target at 13 needed for control.
