Pope Francis Calls For Global Governance To Fight Climate Change
SGT Report ^ | May 20, 2019 | Paul Joseph Watson

Demands new powers be transferred to international authority that ‘manages’ interests of nations

Pope Francis recently called for global governance to fight climate change, asserting, “The nation state cannot be considered as an absolute.”

During an address to the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, the Pope condemned “growing nationalism that neglects the common good” and called for more globalism.

“The nation state cannot be considered as an absolute, as an island with respect to the surrounding context,” he said, adding, “The nation state is no longer able to procure the common good of its populations alone.”

Pope Francis said that a “special authority legally and concordantly constituted” was necessary to facilitate the implementation of new climate change policies.

He went on to demand that power be transferred from nation states to “intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests.”

“This universal common good, in turn, must acquire a more pronounced juridical value at international level,” concluded Francis.

The Pope has made innumerable statements bashing nationalism and populism, particularly in the context of his advocacy of bringing millions of migrants into Europe.

Under his guidance, the Catholic Church has also fully embraced the global warming mantra despite deep skepticism amongst Christians.

***He went on to demand that power be transferred from nation states to “intergovernmental institutions that manage their common interests.”***

Intergovernmental institutions do NOT have the common interests of sovereign nations in their plan.

One World Government, One World Religion.

The plan of The Father of Lies.

Is this pope auditioning for being the leader of the One World Religion?

The False Prophet?

He has no right to demand that of the USA or any other sovereign nation

***The Pope has made innumerable statements bashing nationalism and populism***

Refer to my previous comment.

The pope of Catholocism has no say in our Constitutional Republic.

Bring it on sycophant of satan, the USA will NEVER capitulate to your demonic plan.

***Under his guidance, the Catholic Church has also fully embraced the global warming mantra despite deep skepticism amongst Christians.***

Proof that Christianity is quite separated from Catholicism.

It is now clear.

There are now Christians and Catholics.

Anyone that stays in the Catholic Religion is anathema to what Jesus teaches.

#WalkAway from Catholicism just as "moderate" muslims must walk away from Islam.

The end is near.

Of course he is a Catholic!

Christians have been told on this forum for years that EVERYONE must be in subjection the the Catholic pope.

How dare anyone say that he does not speak for Catholicism.

If you disagree with him, leave the Catholic church and become a follower of Jesus.

“Where does God fit in this picture?”

It’s Catholicism

It does not follow God but their own traditions and new revelations like this one from their Honored pope/leader.

The pope and now Catholicism is/are anathema to Christianity

The pope IS Catholicism.

It’s time for all Catholics to convert to Christianity.

Francis has outed himself as a Progressive so-called Christian. At the most important level, these so-called ‘Christians’ are pantheists whose main interest is in protecting and perfecting nature (the collective soul) and not individual souls. So the answer to your question is ‘no.’

As a Catholic I say and have said repeatedly the church hierarchy is corrupt socialist organization. The only difference between the Democrat party and the church is on matters of sex and reproduction. Otherwise we might as well have the Cortez nitwit as pope.

And Catholics claim, with a straight face, that the Pope is infallible

Only supposed to be on matters of faith and morals, and only when speaking in his official capacity as head of the church. This boob is obviously doing neither - sticking his commie nose into things he knows nothing about and like any Hollywood celeb spouting excrement because he confuses fame with wisdom.

The Catholic Church is officially rudderless and on the way to becoming the world’s biggest community organizer instead of a Christian Church...

You are exactly right --- the decent, rational people worldwide will resist this.

The article erred when it said that "Under his guidance, the Catholic Church has also fully embraced the global warming mantra..." No doubt that's what the ambitious man from Argentina wants to believe, but it's not dogma, and tens of millions of us Catholics just ain't havin' it.

And Catholics claim, with a straight face, that the Pope is infallible.

The Pope is infallible in only certain narrowly defined circumstances:

  1. In canonizing a saint
  2. When he, as Pope (not as a private theologian), teaches definitively, to the whole Church, a doctrine concerning faith and morals.

Note that in the last case, there are four conditions, all of which have to be met. (Pope Francis has never attempted to use this second form of infallibility.)

Also, infallibility is a merely negative charism. It speaks of conditions in which the Pope won't teach error.

Catholic Answers used to ask a question to illustrate this: "If the Pope were infallible in trigonometry, what is the lowest grade he could get on a trigonometry test?" The correct answer is "zero", because he could hand in a blank paper.
