Hi Everybody!
(((HUGS)))
WOO-HOO, hiya Lauren and thanks for tonight’s Road Trip!

Bible in a Year: 1 Chronicles 1315; John 7:127
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14
Human beings are not specialat least according to the London Zoo. In 2005, the zoo introduced a four-day exhibit: Humans in Their Natural Environment. The human captives were chosen through an online contest. To help visitors understand the humans, the zoo workers created a sign detailing their diet, habitat, and threats. According to the zoos spokesperson, the goal of the exhibit was to downplay the uniqueness of human beings. One participant in the exhibit seemed to agree. When they see humans as animals, here, it kind of reminds them that were not that special.
What a stark contrast to what the Bible says about human beings: God fearfully and wonderfully made us in his image (Psalm 139:14; Genesis 1:2627).
David began Psalm 139 by celebrating Gods intimate knowledge of him (vv. 16) and His all-encompassing presence (vv. 712). Like a master weaver, God not only formed the intricacies of Davids internal and external features (vv. 1314), but He also made him a living soul, giving spiritual life and the ability to intimately relate to God. Meditating on Gods handiwork, David responded in awe, wonder, and praise (v. 14).
Human beings are special. God created us with marvelous uniqueness and the awesome ability to have an intimate relationship with Him. Like David, we can praise Him because were the workmanship of His loving hands.
What are some practical implications of knowing and believing youre fearfully and wonderfully made? What are some negative consequences of not believing this?
God created human beings to be like Him.

QUICK DRAW MCGRAW! :-)

Thanks, unique, for the road trippers!

Greetings to all at the Canteen!
To all our military men and women, past and present,

In the early 80s I was living in Virginia Beach.
The carrier U.S.S. Nimitz had a training accident when a plane crashed on deck and several 500 pound bombs went off. I saw it rounding the Virginia Capes and took a few photos of it.
There was some kind of military crisis at the time and they wanted it back in service as soon as possible. The Norfolk Navy Shipyard had it repaired in two days.
The local paper said no other shipyard in the world could have done that.

Interestingly, it is actually located in Portsmouth. To me it sounded like the locals pronounced it Porch Mutt.
Good evening, Mayor, and thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hope you had a good Monday and remembered to rest.
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...any idea when you can bring Blue home?
Tomorrow, maybe?
I anxious to hear if she feels different since you didn’t “use” the rear brakes anyway.
Howdy, Kathy.
I hope today wasn’t quite as crazy as it tends to be.
Howdy, lauren.
Looks like I got here too late to catch you. If you’re on the road, I hope you haven’t been caught up in any of the storms. Been a wild day in TX.
Howdy, PRO.
Did you have a nice weekend? Get out and about or did you kick back and relax?
