Anti-money-laundering specialists at Deutsche Bank recommended in 2016 and 2017 that multiple transactions involving legal entities controlled by Donald J. Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, be reported to a federal financial-crimes watchdog.
The transactions, some of which involved Mr. Trumps now-defunct foundation, set off alerts in a computer system designed to detect illicit activity, according to five current and former bank employees. Compliance staff members who then reviewed the transactions prepared so-called suspicious activity reports that they believed should be sent to a unit of the Treasury Department that polices financial crimes.
But executives at Deutsche Bank, which has lent billions of dollars to the Trump and Kushner companies, rejected their employees advice. The reports were never filed with the government.
The nature of the transactions was not clear. At least some of them involved money flowing back and forth with overseas entities or individuals, which bank employees considered suspicious.

any transaction over 10K sets off an automatic alarm.
> bank helped me break the transfers up to be $9,999.99 and less
they got you coming and going — if they decided to persecute you they could in theory accuse you of structuring
They don’t notify you. They notify the feds.
Sounds like these employees committed a crime by breaching a client's confidentiality.
Thats called structuring and can get you flagged just as fast. My business often has deposits and cash flow exceeding $10,000 on a daily basis. . . Its the nature of the business. We got warned when we had several days of just under $10,000 cash deposits that we might get looked at for structuring our deposits to avoid being over the $10k limit.

A guy who drove one of the Cannonball races from NYC to LA had his credit card declined at a gas station somewhere in the midwest because it was last used in NYC several hours earlier and the algorithm didn’t account for speeding.
The story has also been rebuked by the Bank.
The story has also been refuted by the Bank.
I don't disagree with that but it is currently a crime and the bank employee either knew or should have known of structuring.
‘set off flags’ just means the filtering programs found something that may or may not be of any real significance.
False positives happen all the time in such systems.
Notice it doesnt actually show any real results.
More problematic is they are NOT disclosing many similar results for democrat politicians.
A Weak America is in German financial gnomes interest, so assisting the Washington Swamp is understandable (wonder what deals/payoff they get fo this fabrication).
Perhaps a full Mueller-style investigation of the Hillary crimes and coverup will find MANY damning links to Deutsche Bank ???
NYT is fake news.
Clintons and China, 0bamas and African countries. Those two crime families have dirty dealings around the world.
